What are the top 10 bestselling video games in America, Japan and Europe this week? Thanks to Amazon online sales data here are the video games that are the hottest worldwide right now.

What follows is a listing of the Top 10 bestsellers per region, for all systems combined.

North America’s Top 10 Games:

    1. Kirby Triple Deluxe (3DS)
    2. MLB 14: The Show (PS4)
    3. Grand Theft Auto V (Xbox 360)
    4. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (Xbox 360)
    5. Call of Duty: Ghosts (Xbox 360)
    6. Pokemon Y (3DS)
    7. FIFA 14 (PS4)
    8. Titanfall (Xbox 360)
    9. Pokemon X (3DS)
    10. Grand Theft Auto V (PS3)

Kirby Triple Deluxe debuted last week in America & Canada, with a European & Australian release to follow in one weeks. The Nintendo 3DS game uses the Kirby’s Return to Dream Land engine from the Wii to present the 2.5D platformer. It makes full use of the 3DS functionalities by making you move between the fore- & background of levels as you play to add depth and extra challenge.

After selling half a million copies in Japan so far this year, the game’s off to a strong start in the West.

Japan’s Top 10 Games:

    1. Monster Hunter 4 (3DS)
    2. Yokai Watch (3DS)
    3. Grand Theft Auto V (PS3)
    4. Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment (PS Vita)

Capcom released Monster Hunter 4 exclusively on Nintendo 3DS last year, and after 8 months the RPG has already sold over 4.1 million copies in Japan alone! This week Capcom attributed much of its success the past year to the “explosive popularity” of Monster Hunter 4, which was its bestselling game of 2013!

An international release of an enhanced version of the 3DS game, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, will happen in early 2015.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition recently reached its 12 million copies sold milestone! It’s quickly catching up with the PC’s 15 million players, and let’s not forget about the 1 million new PS3 players. Although it’s nowhere near the massive 21 million Minecraft Pocket Edition players!

After such success it’s no surprise that Warner Bros.’s The Lego Movie team has bought the rights to make a Minecraft Movie.

  • Kirby Triple Deluxe floats to the top of the 3DS chart.
  • MLB 14: The Show debuts at #1 on the PS4 chart.

  • Borderlands 2 debuts as number one on the PS Vita chart.
  • Titanfall still tops the Xbox One chart.
  • Just Dance 2014 keeps jumping to first place on the Wii chart.
  • New Super Mario Bros. U console bundle jumps back on top of the Wii U chart.
  • Outlast returns on the PC chart at the eve of the Whistleblower DLC release.
  • Pokemon Black & White Version 2 catches the #1 spot on the DS chart.
  • Lastly, The Sims 3: Seasons Expansion Pack returns high on the Mac chart.
