How To Unlock Gallery Extras

It’s recommended you first play through the 8 Parts of the Story Mode to earn points. These points can be used to unlock extras in the Gallery menu. Extras include artwork and 3D character models for viewing.

Additionally, once you buy 100 and 500 gallery items, you’ll unlock two easy trophies (1 Bronze & 1 Silver) as well.

New Arcade Mode Secret

As you may know, the Western version of the game adds a brand new Arcade Mode to the main menu. In this classic Arcade Mode you’ll face off against 8 pre-set CPU-controlled fighters with the goal of making it to the final fighter and beating that fighter to get to the ending.

What you may not know about, is that when you play Arcade Mode while connected to the internet, that some of the time the Arcade Mode will become Harvest Mode. Which means it’ll play just like any other time you play through Arcade Mode, but you can tell the difference because you’ll be given more Gold at the end of the matches.

To quote Namco Bandai’s explanation: “On rare occasions, the Arcade Mode icon will switch to Harvest when connected online, allowing players to earn more gold when they complete matches.”

Unlockable Costumes

DLC: The digital PlayStation 3 Network version of the game includes an exclusive bonus item.

– Alongside the game, you’ll receive an extra Johnny Joestar “Stars and Stripes” costume for him to wear in-game.

Unlockable Characters

DLC: In the near-future 9 DLC characters will be made available via paid DLC. Right now, only 2 have been made available as pre-order bonuses.

– On Amazon you receive a Shigekiyo “Shigechi” Yangu download code.
– On the Namco Bandai store you receive a Yoshikage Kira download code.
