Batman: Arkham Origins – Cold Cold Heart Frozen Victims

How to find missing Frozen Victims?: These frozen civilians are pretty easy to locate using Detective Vision when you are nearby. There are 10 of these frozen victims outside of South Gotham, 3 in the My Alibi club, and 7 in Goth Corp.

In-game the Frozen Victims will appear simply as civilians strapped in large blue/white chunks of ice that you can free to collect when you stand next to it. It can be confirmed as being Frozen Victims simply by walking up to it, as the on-screen text will then tell you can press & hold the A button on Xbox 360 / X button on PS3 / action key on PC to “Break ice”. This will melt the ice around frozen civilians.

Once you’ve successfully freed a frozen civilian from cryogenic stasis (AKA being trapped in an ice block) you’ll get the following on-screen confirmation message: “Victims In Ice – 1/20 Frozen Victims Rescued”.

Tip: Right after you receive the Extreme Environment Suit, you’ll learn to use it by melting your first ice wall at the end of the sewer pipe. The room you enter afterwards contains your first Frozen Victim, you can unfreeze said victim the same way you did the frozen wall.

Does the game save each Frozen Victims you collect?: Yes, the game will automatically save the Frozen Victims you just collected if you freed the Frozen Victim, so you don’t have to play to the end of the mission you’re on. After picking up each collectible you can safely quit the mission without losing your collectibles progress.
