Welcome to the Call of Duty: Ghosts Devastation Intel locations guide that helps you find the total of 9 Intel locations for the Xbox 360, Xbox One and soon PS3, PS4 & PC first-person shooter game DLC #2.

Finding all 9 Intel locations and picking them up will help unlock this Achievement / Trophy:
* “Inquisitive Mind” (30 Gamerscore / Bronze Trophy) — Find all of the Intel in Mayday.
* Bonus: Each Intel you find will unlock an extra story cutscene, revealing more of Mayday’s backstory. Play the cutscene from the game’s Main Menu, Intel can be found under the Xbox Live / Online Play section.

How to find missing Intel?: In-game the Intel will appear simply as:

A) 5 black Encrypted Intel Laptops lying on a surface (with a green glowing outline) that can be found at set / static locations. You can pick up each computer tablet to collect when you stand next to it by following the on-screen prompt. — Afterwards, you’ll get a confirmation message saying “Medusa File Found”.

B) The second way to find the 4 remaining Classified Intel is at randomly generation locations (called search spots) on the map; these types of small Classified Intel Phones are hidden inside small grey containers on the ground. Stand next to it and you’re told to “Press and hold X to search” the container for its contents, this will open it up and drop the Intel file on the floor (with a green glowing outline). Once again, you can pick up the Intel file to collect it by standing next to it and following the new on-screen prompt. — Afterwards, you’ll get a confirmation message saying “Archer File Found”.
Note that only 1 player can pick it up, and it will automatically unlock the intels in order.

C) The 1 final, 10th Intel titled “Epilogue” is automatically unlocked as you complete the Mayday map; by defeating the Kraken final boss.

Both types of collectible Intel can be confirmed as being Intel simply by walking up to it, as the on-screen text will then tell you can press the action button/key to pick it up. The message will read: “Press and hold X to pick up intel”.

Does the game save each Intel you collect?: Yes, the game will automatically save the Intel you just collected if you picked up the Intel. But it’s always recommended you play to the end of the mission. — Once collected, these Intel cannot be picked up again.

Note: Collecting each Intel will also give you a nice $500 cash bonus.

Tip: To view the unlocked Intel videos, from the Main Menu go to “Xbox Live”/Online Play and select “Intel”. There is a tracker available in the top right corner of the screen showing how many items you have collected.

Where to find all Intel in Call of Duty: Ghosts Devastation? The in-game collectibles locations for the Intel are described in this detailed video guide with handy voice-over tips. The Intel are shown in the video in the order that they can appear.

Encrypted Intel are the only Intel items (Laptops) that have permanent locations on the map:

• Laptop Intel Location #1: “Sleeper Agent”: Drill the upstairs door in the first area. Shoot out the window, crawl onto the pipe, and follow it to the left to find the laptop.
• Laptop Intel Location #2: “Encrypted”: On balcony close to Tesla/HypnoTrap schematics table after clearing the tentacle.
• Laptop Intel Location #3: “Witchcraft”: In the middle of Area 2 on top of some crates. Use the crates to jump to the top.
• Laptop Intel Location #4: “Mutiny”: Entering the indoor area on the top deck, this can be found at the back of the room behind the large cyclindrical column.
• Laptop Intel Location #5: “The Guardian”: Final area, on the opposite side of where you enter on the walkway.

PS: There have been reports that this achievement/trophy is glitched (on Xbox One?) wherein the achievement/trophy doesn’t pop up after watching the final cutscene. After finishing the Mayday story, you might want to try watching all Intel videos to see if that makes the “Inquisitive Mind” achievement/trophy unlock.
