Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes Cheats
How To Unlock Side Ops Missions: After you complete the “Ground Zeroes” main story mission, you will unlock the Side Ops missions. These extra missions will be tougher, because they are set during the daytime, thus requiring you use all your stealth skills to the max.
For example, one of the Side Ops you’ll unlock is this “Destroy The Anti-Air Emplacements” mission:
A) Unlock the “Deja Vu” Extra Op mission featuring Solid Snake, if you’re playing on the PS3 or PS4 versions;
B) Unlock the “Jamais Vu” Extra Op mission featuring Raiden, if you’re playing on the Xbox 360 or Xbox One versions.
These next two outfits are only available to the PlayStation 3 & 4 versions of the game. Read how to unlock the “Deja Vu” Extra Op in the section above.
How To Unlock Classic Snake: You can unlock the Classic Snake outfit to wear only in the “Deja Vu” level. Unlock it by answering all the questions correctly at the end of the level when you complete it on any difficulty mode.
How To Unlock The Cyborg Ninja: You can unlock the Classic Grey Fox AKA The Cyborg Ninja outfit to wear only in the “Deja Vu” level. Unlock it by answering all the questions correctly at the end of the level when you complete it on Hard difficulty mode. — The rewards message at the end of the quiz will read: “The Cyborg Ninja outfit has been unlocked for the “Deja-Vu” Extra Op. It can be selected after choosing this mission from the Mission Select Menu.
This video shows the questions quiz, and after that the unlocked outfit in action:
The game has unique second-screen elements, via the free Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes iDROID app, which allows you to sync maps, summon air support (it serves as a support terminal for calling in support helicopters!) and listen to the game’s music & found cassettes (found while exploring Camp Omega) on a linked iOS, Android or Smart Glass system.
As such, the iDROID app acts as Big Boss’ in-game comm system and map. Through the iDROID Mode the app connects with the Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes main game to show the in-game map as you play, like a car navigation system in the palm of your hand. But of course the best bonus is that it enables you to summon air support at any given time. Now that should come in handy!
Tip: This mode requires a WiFi environment to connect to your game console. For more information, please refer to the “HOW TO CONNECT” menu within the app.
Outside of these iDROID Mode & Cassette Tapes Mode of the above-mentioned iDROID app, there’s also the Mother Base Mode.
It allows you to use your mobile device (away from the game) to build up your very own Mother Base in this stand-alone mode that can be played with just this app. Of course, there is even more fun in store if you play it in conjunction with the main game.
– Expand Mother Base, build a private army, and dispatch troops to battlefields around the globe. Manage your forces and build your military might in this military base building simulation.
– Play as a stand-alone app, or sync with with Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes to unlock special troops and weapons obtained from within the main game!
