Titanfall: How To Regenerate Generations

Here we’ll go over how regenerating Generations works in multiplayer.

The basics:

In multiplayer you can rank up to level 50 at which point you can Regenerate Generations and get a new emblem to show off how far along you are. You can Regenerate Generations a flat 9 times up to Generation 10. When you reach Level 50 by doing certain challenges and requirements to regenerate, you’ll reset all of your weapons, challenges, and of course level itself, except for Burn Cards and any Titan chassis you have unlocked as reward for playing matches and completing the campaign on both sides. Another bonus is that with each increasing Generation, you’ll also increase your experience point (XP) earning value and have the ability to redo challenges.

What you gain each new Generation:

• Going from Generation 1 to 2 you’ll earn XP at an accelerated rate of: 110%
• Going from Generation 2 to 3 you’ll earn XP at an accelerated rate of: 120%
• Going from Generation 3 to 4 you’ll earn XP at an accelerated rate of: 130%
• Going from Generation 4 to 5 you’ll earn XP at an accelerated rate of: 150%
• Going from Generation 5 to 6 you’ll earn XP at an accelerated rate of: 180%
• Going from Generation 6 to 7 you’ll earn XP at an accelerated rate of: 210%
• Going from Generation 7 to 8 you’ll earn XP at an accelerated rate of: 250%
• Going from Generation 8 to 9 you’ll earn XP at an accelerated rate of: 290%
• Going from Generation 9 to 10 you’ll earn XP at an accelerated rate of: 350%
• You will get a unique chip / emblem indicating to others your Gen status.

What you get to keep each new Generation:

• You will retain your Burn Card collection.
• The Ogre and Stryder Titans will stay if you unlocked them by completing both Campaign sides.

What you lose each new Generation:

• You will lose all that you have unlocked and be reset to level 1.
• All Challenges will be reset.

Requirements to reach next generation:

• Requirement #1: Reach the maximum Pilot level, Level 50. You level up by playing Campaign & Classic matches and completing Challenges.

• Requirement #2: Fully complete all Challenges required for the next Generation.

To fully complete a Challenge you must complete all 5 tiers of the Challenge. The tier requirements for each Challenge are listed below the descriptions. — For example: Going from Generation 2 to 3 requires you to fully complete its 3 Challenges.
