Pile of Sacrifice Description: “The Kleidos is an amazing relic from a long-forgotten time in which warriors thirsty for recognition had to pass the challenges that only it could offer. — Anyone who wanted to test their valor in the arena of the Kleidos, first had to find the runes that complete it: a total of 16. — For every four runes, the warrior had the right to a series of challenges. Finding all the runes and completing the associated challenges is only within the reach of the best warriors.”

Important Note: You cannot collect all Pile of Sacrifice on your first playthrough of the game. Some of these Pile of Sacrifice require abilities / skills that you do not learn until late in the game. That’s why after finishing the game, you can revisited every location (except one) of the game again in Free Roam, now with all your abilities. You do this by going to the Map Room and choosing the Zone / District you want to visit, as covered in this collectibles guide.

Tip: Collecting the Pile of Sacrifice will also give you a nice bonus. You’ll gain the ability to carry up to 3 of any type of the Relic. Handy, since each Relic is a one-use item until you pick up more. Don’t worry, enemies drop Relics regularly, though. The Relics in question are:
– Tears of a Saint (restores health fully),
– Ensnared Demon (unlimited Void and Chaos magic for a few seconds),
– Stolas’ Clock (slows down enemies),
– Seal of Alastor (unlocks all possible skill attacks with all weapons for a short period of time),
– Talisman of the Dragon (turn into a Dragon and do massive damage).

How to find missing Pile of Sacrifice?: In-game the Pile of Sacrifice pedestal will be standing around with a blue glow surrounding it. When you walk up to it Dracula will cut his arm on the sword blade that’s hanging above the pedestal, so that his blood will be sacrificed to Kleidos, and in return a rune will appear for him to pick up. It can be confirmed as a collected Pile of Sacrifice rune shard, simply by seeing the different-colored runes being inserted into an on-screen medallion of Kleidos.

Does the game save each Pile of Sacrifice you collect?: Yes, the game will automatically save the Pile of Sacrifice for your collectibles progress if you picked up the Kleidos rune. – Once collected, these Kleidos runes cannot be picked up again.
