How to find missing Secret Exits?: In-game the Secret Exits will appear simply as black portals with a white light surrounding it. They will always be hidden in another level, on a difficult to reach hidden location.

Does the game save each Secret Exits you collect?: Yes, the game will automatically save the Secret Exits you just entered by unlocking the new level it leads to on the world map.
