Maverick Dual-purpose Rifle in Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught

Buying Onslaught automatically arms players with a deadly new addition to their arsenal with the Maverick, a dual-purpose Assault Rifle and Sniper Rifle. Outfitted with a lightweight wood stock and a digital screen display, players can choose to use the Maverick as either an assault rifle or sniper rifle, depending on their tactical needs. As an Assault Rifle the weapon’s fire rate becomes full auto with relatively high damage at range, and as a Sniper Rifle the Maverick sports an advanced scope and a semi-auto rate of fire.

The Maverick dual-purpose rifle description for the sniper mode: “Precision rifle fitted with high-powered scope. Most effective at long range. Semi-automatic. Uses custom LAB DIGITAL A2 Tracker Scope. Dead from the waist up with moderate mobility and recoil.”

How to get the Venom-X Weapon in the Nightfall Exctinction Map

Using a new sci-fi weapon called the Venom-X gun, you can unlock an achievement on the Nightfall Exctinction Map.
To quote: “Turnabout is Fair Play (20G) — Kill 50 Cryptids with the Venom-X weapon in Nightfall.”

Location: The Venom-X can be found in the third section of the Nightfall map. Destroy the hive in the middle of the map to enter a room with two Venom X guns lying on the desk. Stand next to one to “Press and hold X to equip the Venom-X”. It’ll be available for all 4 players in multiplayer. And when you using the Venom-X you can carry 3 weapons at once.
