Here’s the list of this week’s new video game releases. Popular video games released this week are: Halo: Spartan Assault & the classic Super Mario Bros. 3.

No retail games this last week of the year, luckily there’s a lot to catch up on from the past few months. Time sure flies when you’re having fun gaming. ๐Ÿ˜€

New downloadable games include:

  • Newly available on the PlayStation Store: [updates Tuesday]
    PS4: Zen Pinball 2 — Note: It’s free if you already have the PS3 or PS Vita version.
    PS3: Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition.
  • What’s added on Xbox Live Marketplace: [updates Wednesday]
    Xbox One Downloads: Halo: Spartan Assault.
    Games for Gold: Shoot Many Robots. Note: Free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers until the 31st.
  • New games on the 3DS & Wii U eShop: [updates Thursday]
    3DS Virtual Console: Super Mario Bros. 3.
    3DS eShop: Bird Mania Christmas, EDGE, Pokemon Transporter.
    3DS Retail Downloads: Pokemon Bank: 30-day free trial & Pokemon Bank: 1-year pass.
    Wii U Virtual Console: Super Mario Bros. 3.
    Wii U eShop: CastleStorm.
    Wii U Retail Downloads: Cocoto Magic Circus 2.
  • New game additions on Steam: [updates all week]
    PC/Mac/Linux: Crusader Kings II: Songs of Yuletide, Europa Universalis IV: Songs of Yuletide.
