Here’s how to unlock all Grand Theft Auto 5 codes and cheats. All GTA 5 codes work for the PS3 & Xbox 360 versions of this awesome sandbox game. 😀

And yes, we will include a Grand Theft Auto 5 money cheat for easy money very soon.

First Enter The Cheats Mode: To turn on cheat codes, you first have to be in-game. Then during gameplay without pausing (and with enough empty space around you) you can enter these codes directly into the game using the controller’s buttons and Directional-Pad (the digital D-Pad, not with either of the analog sticks).

Cheats Warning: To confirm the cheat has been entered correctly the game will tell you “Cheat Activated”, because using cheats prevents you from earning Achievements & Trophies and autosaves are disabled. DO NOT SAVE the game after turning on a code to avoid unforeseen problems during missions. Alternatively, on consoles it’s recommended you sign into the game with a second profile, so you can finish the game normally on your first profile.

The lists below give you the cheat description, followed by the code to enter into the game.
Lists are ordered alphabetically and all GTA 5 cheat codes have been confirmed to work.

GTA 5 Codes for Gameplay:

Note: You have to manually enter the GTA 5 codes into the game during gameplay each time you play, because cheats do not get saved after you exit the game.

After entering the first cheat you’ll get this on-screen message: “Cheats have been activated. Achievements / Trophies will not be awarded for the duration of this session.” Each subsequent GTA 5 code that is successfully entered into the game will result in a “Cheat Activated” message.

GTA 5 Cheat for Weapons:

Here’s how to buy & upgrade all of your weapons in Grand Theft Auto 5 for free.

Location: Can be done during any active mission. Example early in the game is: During the “Nervous Ron” Mission at Trevor’s Safehouse, take his ATV to visit the Ammu-Nation gun shop nearby.

First: You’ll need to get together enough money, over $30,000 should be enough. Don’t worry you’ll get it back, that’s the cheat. The map location and in-game instructions are shown in Gametastik’s video guide below.

Second: During an active mission, go to the gun shop and buy all of the weapons, weapon upgrades, and grenades. Then exit the gun shop and use one of the grenades to kill yourself in-game. This results in the active mission failing and that restarts the mission with all of the money you spent at the gun shop returned to you! BUT if you go back into the gun shop, you’ll see all the weapons & upgrades are all still bought! And you can do this again whenever new weapons have become available to buy at the gun shop.
