North America’s Top 10 Games:

    1. Saints Row IV (Xbox 360)
    2. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (Xbox 360)
    3. New Super Luigi U (Wii U)

    9. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist (Xbox 360)
    10. Mario and Luigi: Dream Team (3DS)

Deep Silver launched the Volition-developed Saints Row IV. Widely acclaimed as the craziest and stupidest fun open world game series there is; there’s aliens and super powers this time. Saints Row IV does not take itself seriously in the least and the 4+ million fans love it for that.

Seeing this game return to the top time and again, reminds me that a sad fact of life is that some awesome games never make it out of Japan. Tomodachi Collection (translation: Friends Collection) on DS was one of those fun-looking games from Nintendo that mixes The Sims and Animal Crossing life simulation gameplay, and adds in the Mii’s of you and your friends. — The 3DS sequel sold 1,379,177 copies so far, and is no doubt hoping to exceed its predecessor’s 3.2 million sales! Friend Collection: New Life, debuted in Japan in April with plenty of new features added like Baby Mii’s… yes it’s a VERY cutesy game.

Here’s one of the Friend Collection: New Life TV commercials that are airing in Japan.

Europe’s Top 10 Games:

    1. Saints Row IV – Commander In Chief Edition (Xbox 360)
    2. Saints Row IV – Commander In Chief Edition (PS3)
    3. Payday 2 (Xbox 360)
    4. The Last Of Us (PS3)
    5. Minecraft (Xbox 360)
    6. Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS)

    8. Disney Infinity – Starter Pack (Xbox 360)
    9. Hitman Absolution (Xbox 360)
    10. Tomb Raider (PS3)
