In this Plants VS Zombies sequel cheats have been replaced with in-game microtransaction powerups that you have to buy. It’s the cost of the freemium model Apple App Store games seem to love so much these days; Whereas us fans hate it because it shifts the game’s balance in favor of buying your progress through the levels, opposed to earning it as you gain experience like in the first game.
