This is a full guide to complete the Buried zombies map.

Here’s how to get started in Buried:

Let’s begin by showing you how to turn on the power for free in Buried, and where to find the Mystery Box.

The section below this video guide will then show you how to free your friend Huckleberry, so you can get started on solving the Maxis or Richtofen easter egg puzzles and complete the map…

In Buried, you can access all areas of the zombie map with the help of your new friend Huckleberry, because he’ll clear blockades (or debris) for free. – He also goes by the names Leroy the Gentle Giant / Hillbilly / Candyman / Cletus / The Sloth.

On Buried you start above ground, there you must kill enough zombies to earn 2000 points. Next, you jump off of the catwalk up to where the LSAT is, keep pressing A to climb up onto the catwalk and buy the LSAT before the floor breaks and you fall.

After you’ve fallen, you need to get Huckleberry out of his cage by falling though the hole in the floor above his cell. Open his cell with the green key and give him the booze. You can also buy more booze from the bar around the corner.

You need to get Huckleberry to smash open all 7 off the blockades. This is done by giving him booze that can be found either in his Cell, in the Saloon on a table or counter or you can purchase booze for 1000 points at the counter.

The blockades are:
– His Cell.
– The alleyway next to his cell, where Juggernog is.
– The Gunsmith shop.
– Alley next to Gunsmith shop.
– Alley next the Candy Shop.
– Water fountain in front of the Haunted House and Church.
– Haunted House.
– Church.

When trying to get him to destroy these blockades you need to make sure his back is turned to them and you are facing him and the blockade.

Tip: Having the Booze and Candy will make completing Buried much easier. Here’s how to get it…

Here are all the steps to take to finish Buried:

STEP 1: Find all of Maxis’s Noose or Richtofen’s Guillotine pieces.

STEP 2: Turn the 4 purple Energy Orbs white using the Subsurface Resonator energy weapon, and then destroy them using the Turbine.

STEP 3: Knock down the purple floating Lantern with a cooked frag, pick it up and fill it by killing zombies, then place the Lantern on the Lantern outline on the roof.

STEP 4: Decoding The Cypher* and The Wisps X2**.

* The Cypher code shows which 3 of 5 wooden signs around the map you have to knife:
Dry Gulcher Shaft
Lunger Undermines
Ground Biter Pits
Bone Orchard Vein
Consumption Cross

** The white flying Wisp can be duplicated by throwing a Time Bomb at the gate before reaching the Maxis device, then when the Wisp reaches the Maxis device you go back in time to do the same steps with a second Wisp. How to keep the Wisps alive to power the Maxis device is explained in this video guide, since they require regular zombie life energy and good teamwork.

STEP 5: Ringing all 9 Bells and the Lever.

STEP 6: The Make-A-Wish Fountain activates 4 locations with each 20 targets to shoot. Each of your four team members will have to be on one of these four locations to succeed. The 4 locations are: along the side of the mansion house, in the saloon, in front of the candy store, and right next to Juggernog.
