How to unlock all secret Injustice Gods Among Us characters? That question will be answered in this guide that shows you how and who to unlock to get the full roster.

Although the initial roster is available from the get-go (all 24), the Injustice Gods Among Us characters select screen has room for plenty of bonus characters.

Developer NetherRealm Studios has confirmed 4 more — than the out-of-the-gate playable 24 characters — will be made available in Injustice Gods Among Us individually for $5 OR as a set through paid downloadable content titled “Injustice Season Pass DLC” in 2013. The set price gets you 4 characters for the price of 3, which is $14.99 (on PlaySation Network) or 1200 Microsoft Points (on Xbox Live) with no Wii U DLC plans announced.

The first of these four DLC characters (adding up to make the fighting game’s total: 28 characters) will be revealed during the game’s launch week, after April 16th.

To unlock these downloadable new characters, you have to buy the “Season Pass” and download each of the four characters once they are made available. Then they will appear as part of your character select screen roster. These character release dates are to be determined, so we’ll keep you updated on this page with announcements.

  • Mystery Character 1: Lobo

    How To Unlock: Lobo has been confirmed as the first DLC character.
    He will be available for download to everyone who has paid for the Season Pass, likely due in Early 2013. This “Injustice: Gods Among Us Season Pass” grants buyers access to four of the game’s upcoming downloadable characters for the price of three.
    Prior to his confirmation Ed Boon, the game’s Lead Game Designer at NetherRealm Studios, strongly hinted on his Twitter that this character would be one of the first that will be added.
    To quote: When a fan asked “Why no Lobo?” Mr. Boon said “Not all characters announced. :)”

  • Mystery Character 2: Batgirl

    How To Unlock: This second mystery character from the DC Universe is now available for download to everyone who has paid for the Season Pass or as a separate DLC.

    How To Unlock: This mystery character from the DC Universe will be available for download to everyone who has paid for the Season Pass, likely due in Early 2013.

Please note that these characters were not included in the Injustice planning, therefore this is not on-disc DLC, since these characters did not go into development until after the full game went gold. Instead, we can expect them to treat downloadable characters just like the full fledged on-disc characters.
