How To Unlock The 2nd Campaign: Aftermath

To unlock a second campaign in Gears of War: Judgment, you’ll need to unlock all 40 Stars during the main campaign.

Unlocking Tip: These Stars are received by fully finishing sections of the main campaign by doing extra headshots, not needing to be revived, and generally kicking ass. Be sure to successfully complete as many Declassified Missions as you can to increase the number of Stars you get for your performance. Getting Ribbons is another good way to earn Stars faster.

The second campaign is titled “Aftermath” and takes place during the final hours of Gears of War 3. It tells the story of what Baird and Cole were doing while Marcus was taking down the Locust Queen in Gears of War 3.

To quote lead level designer Jim Brown: “We wanted to do something that added context to the game, so you had that beginning part, but then this ties everything together with the main trilogy as well. So you’ll see when you go in there some people you recognize, some places, maybe even some enemies and then see how the two storylines weave together in the context of the whole franchise.

Obviously we don’t want to give away too many spoilers in how it’s going to end or what you’re going to see. But the basic gist of it is that when they’re at the fort, Marcus sends Baird and Cole off to find supplies and reinforcements, and then he goes off to Azura. Then at the very end they show up with helicopters. This is where they went and what they did on that mission.”

PS: After finishing the game, I do believe you also unlock the Insane Difficulty Mode.

Unlockable DLC Weapons & Armor Skins

The biggest of the packs on Xbox Live Marketplace right now is the “Total Skin Pack”, which includes every weapon skin (16), armor skin (22), and character DLC in the game. But it comes at a price of 4,000 Microsoft Points or $50.
