Mission 1: Lab Rat

In StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm you have to help Kerrigan fight her way through a massive single player campaign leading you to some of the most dangerous worlds in the Koprulu sector. You will face cunning enemies, rough environments and challenges that will afford all of your skills on the battlefield.

On Tarsonis, Sarah Kerrigan was betrayed by her allies and left to die by the people she trusted most but she survived, twisted by the terrifying zerg Overmind. As the Queen of Blades, she controlled the voracious zerg Swarm in a campaign of vengeance and retribution with a deathtoll numbering in the billions. Now, with her powers stripped and her mind finally free from the zerg influence, how much is really left of the woman who once was Sarah Kerrigan? Can her human side be redeemed… or does Kerrigan’s fate forever lie within the Heart of the Swarm?

At the time the story campaign starts with Mission 1: Lab Rat, it has been three weeks since the invasion of Char. Deep within a secret research facility in the Umojan Protectorate. Sarah Kerrigan wrestles with the darkness of her past and the uncertainty of her future.

Let’s get the StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm walkthrough started!
Guiding you with pro player voice-over tips is Doug. 😀

Prologue Star Wars-escque Introduction:

“With the disappearance of the Queen of Blades, the Zerg Swarm has been shattered.

Jim Raynor’s rebel forces have smuggled Sarah Kerrigan off Char, leaving the planet to General Warfield and the Dominion. Meanwhile, the powerful xel’naga artifact has disappeared.

In a hidden base in the Umojan Protectorate, Raynor and Prince Valerian have begun conducting tests to ensure that Kerrigan’s return to humanity is complete.

But they are running out of time. Throughout the sector, Emperor Mengsk’s forces carry out a relentless hunt for the Dominion’s most hated enemy: Sarah Kerrigan.”

Mission 2: Back in the Saddle

Depart with Jim Raynor. His ship is prepped and ready to take off from Research Station EB-103. But the Dominion – with Nova leading Bravo team – is intent to stop him from taking Sarah Kerrigan away… and they’ve got a kill-order!

Mission 3: Rendezvous

Pissed off that Raynor didn’t make it to the Rendezvous Site, Kerrigan goes to the planet down below to ensure Raynor’s safe return for when he does arrive. To achieve this, she must destroy the Drakken Pulse Cannon by taking control of an old Zerg hive and use it to attack the Dominion forces.

This is the first mission where you get your own Zerg base, Doug gives some base building advice.

Tip: It takes 3 Drones to optimally harvest a single Mineral Field or Vespane Geyser. Having enough harvesters is vital to building a powerful army.

Hint: You can use the first Skill on structures to take out the bunker with just one? shot!

Mission 4: Harvest of Screams

Upon hearing the news report that Emperor Mengsk has supposedly executed the by the Ghost Nova apprehended Raynor, Kerrigan sets out to take revenge on the Emperor by uniting the Zerg that have been split into factions since she left.

Choose to retake the Zerg Hive Planet Char (Dominin enemy) or as we did, go to the frozen moon called Kaldir (Protoss enemy). It’s there we get our own Leviathan Zerg mothership.

Reclaim Nafash’s Brood.

Note: Your campaign progress is automatically saved at key points. If you run into trouble during the mission, you can load from a checkpoint to quickly restart mid-mission.

Mission 5: Shoot The Messenger

The Protoss are still trying to warn their Golden Armada at Shakuras that the Queen of Blades has returned. Intercept these Protoss Shuttles before they get through the warp conduit.
