Pin-Up Girls Easter Egg

Like in past Metal Gear Solid games, there are a few pin-up model posters scattered throughout Metal Gear Rising. Two are in File R-03, and one is in File R-05, both in Denver. Slice at them with your blade to reveal a new image.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Easter Egg

In the third mission titled “File R-02: Research Facility” Raiden enters the sewer and must defend a little boy against cyborgs. Upon seeing Raiden in full-on ninja mode, the boy sings the theme song from the 80’s & 90’s kids/family cartoon TV show; the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

“Cowabunga!” 😀

Konami Code Easter Egg

You can enter the classic Konami Code (AKA Contra Code) into the game’s title screen, upon startup yet before pressing start, to unlock all difficulty levels.

• On PlayStation 3 it’s: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Circle, X.
• On Xbox 360 it’s: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A.

Ninja Cat Easter Egg

You can find the Ninja Cat that cannot be killed in File 01 on the beach, and again in File 03 in the first person cut scene. Each time you try to slash at Ninja Cat, he or she will do a backflip to avoid your attack!

Naked Guy Easter Egg

In the File 03 mission, when you rescue the civilian if you follow him and slash at him, it rips off his clothes! Of course prompted by a scolding from Courtney, who does the same thing if you slash at pin-up girl posters.
