Original White Hair Dante Easter Egg

Take a look at Ninja Theory’s quick nod to the white-haired Dante of Capcom’s old Devil May Cry games.

This video shows the cutscene from the game’s first level, where Dante by accident gets a white mop blown on his head and then checks out his new hairdo in a nearby mirror while quipping “Not in a million years!” upon seeing his ‘new’ white hair. 😆

Street Fighter 2 & Giant Enemy Crab Easter Egg

DmC has Arcade cabinets on the pier and in random areas of the game. Check them out from the side to see what games (both real and fictional jokes) are displayed on their screens.

This video shows the “Street Fighter 2” Ken & Ryu level from the Japanese version of the Capcom Arcade game. There’s also “Giant Enemy Crab” game, which is based on the PlayStation 3 E3 announcement of a game with battles based on actual events that took place in ancient Japan. 😉

Mortal Kombat Easter Egg

After Dante obtains the Ophion Demon Pull ability, the first time he uses it on an enemy he’ll say “Get over here!” as a homage to Scorpion’s spear attack from the Mortal Kombat fighting games.
