Mithril Brick Locations #71 to #91
Part 5 of the Lego Lord of the Rings Mithril Bricks video guide shows #71 to #91:
Mithril Brick #71 – In Hobbiton, northeast of the map stone is a hill you can climb. On that hill is a circle of dig spots with moles. As Sam, melee them within the time limit as you have done in past brick spots and when you finish in the time limit the brick will appear.
Mithril Brick #72 – A little southwest of the Lothlorien map stone is a river. On the side of the river you will be on is a mini cave where you have to use Frodo’s light phial to walk in and get the brick.
Mithril Brick #73 – A little northeast of the Lothlorien map stone, on the ground is a small pond with a waterfall at the top and a Gimli cracked brick behind the water. You have to use a taller character to throw Gimli at the spot and then you can get the brick there.
Mithril Brick #74 – Fast travel to Weathertop, south of the map stone is a hill/tower. On the northeast bottom of that structure are bricks you can destroy. Inside will be a blacksmith design and a goat you can ride. Ride the goat through the short post track and at the end the brick will appear.
Mithril Brick #75 – Fast travel to Edoras and choose night. In the southern part of the field east of the town ghosts will attack you. Destroy a certain number of them within the time limit and the brick is yours.
Mithril Brick #76 – Southeast of Edoras on the map is a winding path up a mountain. At the top is a set of jumps off of gray brick stacks up to archery points to make poles extend. Once you have shot them, swing and jump your way to the brick.
Mithril Brick #77 – If you fast travel to The Pass of Caradhras map stone and take the left path on the map north, when you get to the point in the path where the option to replay the pass of caradhras level is, instead drop off the path on the other side, the west side, toward the water and there will be ruins. Among them is a small enclosure blocked by a morgul lock so use Sauron or Aragorn to destroy it to access the brick inside.
Mithril Brick #78 – Just north of the spot in 77, along the edge of the water are green jump pads, some of which you must shoot with a bow to level them out. As jump and bounce your way across them, there is a small island on the right. Head there, switch to Gimli, and smash the cracked brick to get mithril brick inside.
Mithril Brick #79 – From 78, bounce across to the larger island and continue inland. You will have to fight a couple uruk hai at a campsite. Just beyond that is a morgul brick blocking a small cave. Use Aragorn or Sauron to destroy it. Then, switch to Frodo and use his light phial to be able to walk in and pick up the brick.
Mithril Brick #80 – Fast travel to the pass of caradhras map stone and once more take the western path that first heads south and then wayyyyyyyyy north. We’re heading back to the base we got a brick in earlier as Sam with his rope. It is quite a ways up the path on the right, and you had to have used a strong pull handle to get in. At the cliff edge inside of the ruined fort you will see a few archery pole points on the wall. Shoot them with an archer character and swing across them as an elf to get the brick.
Mithril Brick #81 – About halfway on the path between the black gate and cirith ungul map stones, on the left side set into a mountain is a gate with a strong pull bar on it. Use Lurtz or Sauron to pull it open and go inside.
Mithril Brick #82 – In the same cave as 81, as Sam, walk up a set of planks until you come to a landing. Then use Sam’s rope to pull across the gap and jump up and walk forward to pick up the brick.
Mithril Brick #83 – Fast travel to the black gate map stone and go south through the gate. On the map there is a path to the left and right. Take the right on the map or the left one if you have the camera behind your character as travel south. On the left side of the path, just north of barad-dur tower, set into the wall of the mountain is a mithril brick gate. Blow it up with the Berserker or mithril fireworks. Inside will be a small wall for Gollum to climb up to the brick.
Mithril Brick #84 – Just east of Barad-Dur tower in Mordor, right in front of the mountains will be a rare sight – a bunch of gray column towers going up and down or side to side. You simply have to jump up the first few, but then be careful as you jump across the side to side ones, because you can be pushed off so just time your jumps and the mithril brick is on the final platform.
Mithril Brick #85 – East of Mount Doom in Mordor will be an odd formation of jump platforms around a taller central structure that emits fire. This may look somewhat difficult, but it is really one of the easier bricks in the game, just wait for the fire to stop for the platform you want to jump to, and then jump to it. The brick is on top of the center platform after a couple successful jumps.
Mithril Brick #86 – Fast travel to Cirith Ungol at night and go as far east of Mount Doom as you can. There will be armored enemies who attack you around a campsite. Defeat them within the time limit to earn the brick.
Mithril Brick #87 – In the same area as 86, set against the southern mountain by the campsite is a morgul brick. Destroy it with Sauron or Aragorn to get the brick inside.
Mithril Brick #88 – A little southeast of Mount Doom, south of the M in Mordor on the map, is a ground pound point for Gimli. Hit it to bring up a 20 second timer to hit 6 moles in holes in the area. When done successfully, the brick is yours.
Mithril Brick #89 – Southeast of the Rivendell map stone is a flat water area that sits between a large waterfall from above and one that drops far below. In the middle of the water, you should see a couple small platforms sticking out of the water heading into the top waterfall. Go through the water and into the cave beyond. From there, go up the ramp on the left and climb the Gollum wall to jump up onto the are above. Walk around to the right and switch to Legolas to walk across the vine. Once across the vine as far as you can go, shoot the archery point poles and swing to the brick.
Mithril Brick #90 – In the same area as 89, at the top of the Gollum wall go forward and you will be at a Sam dig spot with poles to grab onto above and below you. Be careful not to fall down. Use the dig spot and bounce of the leaf to get above the opening. There will be a Gimli pound spot up top. Destroy it to get the brick inside.
Mithril Brick #91 – From the Rivendell map stone, follow the north west path until you come to a statue at the wall’s edge on the left side of the path across from a building. The building has a small wooden platform coming off of it, and you will need to use a tall character to stand on there, throwing Gimli at the cracked brick high on the tower. That reveals an archery target you must shoot. Doing so extends small platforms around the tower, allowing you to jump across them and up to the brick.

Mithril Brick #92 – Northeast of the Amon Hen map stone, on the northwest edge of the lake you will notice the green bounce pads in the water. You have to shoot all three with a bow and then jump across them to get the brick.
Mithril Brick #93 – West of the Emyn Muil map stone, down at the lake is a set of boards you can walk across that lead to a campground. Behind the tents set against the wall is an object you can destroy and the brick is revealed when you do so.
Mithril Brick #94 – Fast travel to the Dead Marshes and select nighttime. South of the map stone you will notice three ghosts dancing on a hill on one of the small islands. Jump up there with them and destroy them to get the brick.
Mithril Brick #95 – Still in the Dead Marshes, even more south of the map stone, one of the small islands has a mini cave where you need to use Frodo’s light phial to enter and get the brick.
Mithril Brick #96 – Even more south in the dead marshes, one of the last islands has a group of thin columns in the water you have to jump across to an even smaller southern island. On that island you have to quickly destroy the few bushes within a few seconds of each other and the brick then appears.
Mithril Brick #97 – Also in the southern islands of the dead marshes will be a single archery point in the water to shoot. You then have to jump across three narrow beams and make it to the island on the far side. There, switch to Sam to dig up the brick.
Mithril Brick #98 – In Osgiliath, the two halves of the town are separated by a river with a ship you can knock planks down to cross from the one side of the ruins to the other. Just across the river on the eastern side will be bricks only Gandalf or Radaghast can move. First, move a brick onto the left side of the lego strip. Now switch to the other character with you and have them jump onto the brick you put there. Next, switch back to the wizard character you are using and raise the piece with the character on it as high into the air as you can. Finally, switch to the other character that is up in the air and jump to the brick.
Mithril Brick #99 – Fast travel to Minas Morgul at night. Directly south of the map stone is a camp ground where orcs will attack you. Defeat 10 in the time limit and the brick is your reward.
Mithril Brick #100 – Also south of the Minas Morgul map stone, but over to the west a bit there will be a few lego pieces surrounding a person with a fetch quest. From that area, you can walk up a path that heads south on the world map and up to a cracked brick you have to destroy as Gimli. The brick is inside.
Mithril Brick #101 – Far southeast of the Minas Tirith map stone on the map, though just east of the area in 99 and 100, on the western side of the river is a set of small structures. First, as Sam, rope pull the gate off the topmost building to get a crank. Use the crank to open a tiny dark area you have to enter as Frodo and pick up a key. Use the key on the southernmost structure to reveal an archery point. Shoot it and finally jump up the bars to smash the chest at the top and get the brick.
Mithril Brick #102 – Fast travel to Minas Tirith at night, and a little northeast of the map stone, out in the field by the river is a small campground. There, swing away at the tents and enemies, haha, and then the brick is yours.
Mithril Brick #103 – Directly north of the Minas Tirith map stone, but before the river, is a wooden platform. As a character with a bow, time your shots to hit the many targets. My suggestion is to hold X and aim at a spot where the target will pop up. Then just as it does, release the shot. After you hit all targets, the brick appears.
Mithril Brick #104 – The northernmost small island in the Dead Marshes has wood arranged around the brick. Use Sam to light a fire and once the wood burns away you can pick up the brick.
Mithril Brick #105 – Fast travel to Hobbiton and pick nighttime. From the map stone, go south along the river (so the river is on your right and buildings on left) and after the last building on the left turn left and walk up the hill. Go past the rope between the two large hills and you should see some hobbits holding sparklers around some wood. As Sam, set the wood on fire and after it burns, the brick is inside.
Mithril Brick #106 – Fast travel to Weathertop and choose night. From the map stone, head southwest a bit until you are where you can cross the water. You have to use a bow to extend a pole. Once across, go inside the area we were in many bricks ago, so it should be opened. In the center of the large room you will be attacked by scorpions. Defeat them quickly and the brick is yours.
Mithril Brick #107 – West of the weathertop map stone is a small dock you can fish off. Do so and you will bring up a crank. Bring it where the arrow indicates and turn it to raise the gate and get the brick.
Mithril Brick #108 – Back across the water, west of the weathertop map stone, stay along the water’s edge until you hit a lego tower. First, have one character as Gimli and the other as a tall character so you can throw Gimli at the cracked brick high on the tower. Then, use Sam to dig up a bouncy plant and jump up to the brick area to get it.
Mithril Brick #109 – Just south of the weathertop map stone is a path. Head west across the bridge and into the forest. At the northeast part of the forest will be a large cave opening. Go in the cave, head past the Gollum wall and there will be a small drop off. In the lower area is a dig point for Sam. Use it to dig up the brick.
Mithril Brick #110 – From the Lothlorien map stone, take the path west, and then north when you can, up into the mountain. When you reach the fork, turn left. When you reach the open area, jump up the low hills to the top at the back is the chest with the brick in it. Use the Berserker’s bombs or the mithril fireworks to blow it open and get the brick.
Mithril Brick #111 – Also west along the path from the Lothlorien map stone, you should notice a Gollum climb wall up on the rocks. Jump your way up there around where the path splits north and climb the wall. At the top of the wall is a tunnel so go through it. On the other end, switch to Gimli and jump smash the cracked brick to get the mithril brick.
Mithril Brick #112 – From the Lothlorien map stone, the stairs right there go up to where the brick is, but it is too high to jump to. But, you can shoot an archery pole spot to have that ready for you. Now, drop down into the center of the town and go up the other stairs to where a red brick quest is/was. Jump out of that building on the right side to land on a platform. From the platform, as an elf, jump up onto the wires and make your way across them back to the area where you extended the pole. Jump to it and swing jump to the brick.
