There are 50 Achievements (6 Secret) with a total of 1,000 Gamerscore points to earn in the Xbox 360 version.

There are 51 Trophies (6 Hidden) that can be earned in the PS3 version. Earn Bronze (41), Silver (7), Gold (2), and Platinum (1) Trophies to increase your Gamer Level.

These are 3 achievements you can unlock in the menus.

24. Mad Skillz (90G) — Max out all the skills that allow you to level up.

25. Silent Killer (15G) — Use a stealth attack to take down five enemies.

This can be done in Leon’s Campaign, Chapter 2. During the “Reunite with your partner” mission, you’ll find a lot of zombies aimlessly standing around. Approach them from behind to use a stealth attack (you’ll see the melee kick button prompt on-screen) to beat them.

26. Finish What You Start (15G) — Perform a coup de grâce on ten enemies.

27. Bob and Weave (15G) — Counter an enemy’s attack three times in row.

28. Down, Not Out (15G) — Defeat an enemy while dying, then recover without any help.

29. Lifesaver (15G) — Help or rescue your partner ten times.

30. Weapons Master (30G) — Use all the weapons in the game and kill ten enemies with each of them.

31. Give a Little Push (15G) — Knock ten enemies off a high place.

This can be done in Leon’s Campaign, Chapter 5. During the “Get deborah to safety” mission, you’ll find a lot of zombies aimlessly standing around edges. Approach them from behind to use a stealth attack (you’ll see the melee push button prompt on-screen) to throw them off ledges.

32. Rising Up (30G) — Earn a level-four title.

33. They’re ACTION Figures! (15G) — Collect 3 figures.

34. Stuntman (15G) — Defeat 20 enemies with the Hydra using a quick shot.

35. Bring the Heat (15G) — Take down an enemy from 50 meters away with a headshot using the thermal scope.

This can be done in Chris’ Campaign, at the start of Chapter 2.
Play as Piers to get the required Anti-Material Rifle that has a thermal scope. Once chapter 2 starts, go as far back as you can and watch out for the snipers behind the windows. Turn on the thermal scope by pressing the Triangle button (on PS3) / Y button (on Xbox 360) and give an enemy a headshot. Restart the checkpoint if you couldn’t score a headshot on the first try.

36. High Voltage (15G) — Defeat ten enemies with a stun rod charge attack.

In Jake’s Campaign, on Chapter 3, play as Sherry and you will come to a locker room (shown in the video guide right below). Until the enemy opens the door you’ll have infinite enemy respawn.

You can easily get these two Achievements / Trophies in that room:
1. 10 charged attacks with stun rod. (Hold RT and LT and release)
2. 5 kills without an enemy noticing you. (Kill with RT)

37. Zombie Massacre (15G) — Defeat 500 zombies.

To find out how many zombies you’ve killed so far, from the Main Menu go to Records, then scroll to the Enemies tab, and on that screen scroll down until you see the total Zombie count.

Try killing all zombies in Leon’s Campaign to get close to / reach 500 zombies killed.

38. J’avo Genocide (15G) — Defeat 500 J’avo.

39. B.O.W.s Are Ugly (30G) — Defeat 100 enemies that have come out of a chrysalid.

40. I Prefer Them Alive (15G) — Rescue two female survivors at the cathedral.

This can be done in Leon’s Campaign, Chapter 2. Kill the gas monster in the cathedral quickly before it can infect all survivors in the room. To do this use explosives and the sniper rifle, and equip skills that increase weapon damage.

41. Flying Ace (15G) — Pilot the VTOL without getting a scratch on it.

This can be done in Chris’ Campaign, at the start of Chapter 4, by playing as Chris.
Play as Chris to destroy all anti-aircraft guns on the deck of an enemy ship while evading incoming missiles.
Always pay attention on the VTOL health status in the bottom right. If you should ever see it glowing red then you got hit and have to restart the checkpoint immediately! Keep some distance to the helicopters so that you don’t crash into them. Also stay away from the anti-aircraft guns. Once all guns have been destroyed you have to protect your partner and shoot incoming enemies.
Note: The trophy / achievement will unlock when the chapter is over and the final cutscene begins to play.

42. Hard Choice (15G) — Shoot the helicopter pilot with a Magnum at point-blank range.

This can be done in Jake’s Campaign, at the start of Chapter 4, by playing as Jake.

Play as Jake and make sure that you have ammo for your Elephant Killer Magnum gun.
After the motorcyle ride and after Chris & Piers help you fighting off some enemies you will come to an area with mutated J’avo and a helicopter. The helicopter will drop some enemies once in a while. Use that opportunity to climb up the rope that is attached to the helicopter. Once on top, shoot the pilot with the Elephant Killer Magnum gun.
Note: If you take too long Chris and Piers will shoot down the helicopter and a cutscene begins to play. If you should see that cutscene before getting the trophy / achievement then leave the game immediately! The game will save your progress otherwise and you would have to start the chapter from scratch.

43. Covered in Brass (30G) — Earn 150 different medals.

Secret Achievements:

45. I Spy (15G) — Complete Chapter 1 in Ada’s campaign.

46. Counterintelligence (15G) — Complete Chapter 2 in Ada’s campaign.

47. This Takes Me Back (15G) — Complete Chapter 3 in Ada’s campaign.

48. Ada’s Demise (15G) — Complete Chapter 4 in Ada’s campaign.

49. What’s Next? (15G) — Complete Chapter 5 in Ada’s campaign.

50. Sneaking Around (15G) — Get through the aircraft carrier’s bridge area without being noticed.

This can be done in Ada’s Campaign, at the start of Chapter 4.
After collecting the three passcodes in the beginning of chapter 4 you will come to the bridge area of the aircraft carrier. The relevant section for the trophy / achievement starts when Chris and Piers come up the elevator. Make sure that you have some non-explosive bolts for your crossbow before trying this. You have to kill at least 4 enemies, 2 guards and 2 “cockroaches”. Don’t try to sneak your way around the cockroaches. They would always notice you shortly before you drop out of the air vent.
Stay out of the spotlights and only use the crossbow to take out enemies. When reaching the part with the second spotlight you have to perform a little slide to avoid being seen.
Note: If an enemy should see / hear you or even trigger an alarm then restart from the last checkpoint and try again.
