Let’s take a look at all of the Weapon Manufacturers in the world of Pandora.

What follows is the Borderlands 2 Weapons Manufacturers list…

1. Maliwan Weapons

Form meets function with the Maliwan weapons in Borderlands 2. They keep their focus on elemental damage.

2. Tediore Weapons

A quick video about Tediore, one of the weapon manufacturers in Borderlands 2.

Randy Pitchford says they have a different feel in Borderlands 2, describing them as: “Cheap, plastic pieces of crap or Wal-Mart guns”. Instead of reloading these guns, they are thrown away and explode like grenades, and the more ammo is left in the clip, the bigger the explosion. A fully-loaded gun regenerates in the user’s hand after the expended weapon is discarded. Thanks to their explosive capabilities, you’ll be “happy” to know there’s a chance these weapons will explode in your hands before throwing them away.

3. Vladof Weapons

Bury your enemies under an avalanche of lead with Vladof weapons in Borderlands 2.

Vladof weapons have extremely high fire rates that increase as the trigger is held down. They have variable numbers of minigun-like barrels, and more barrels on the gun, the faster it will fire.

4. Bandit Weapons

Bandits themselves have started making their own weapons. Bandit branded weapons have the largest magazines in the game. Note that the Bandits have replaced S&S Munitions.

5. Jakobs Weapons

Jakobs weapons will fire as fast as the trigger is pulled.

6. Torgue Weapons

Torgue weapons feature Gyrojet ammunition which, similarly to BL1’s Carnage, trade area-of-effect damage for low projectile velocity and reduced magazine capacity. What you’re left with is big guns where ever bullet is pretty much a rocket waiting to explode on impact.

7. Dahl’s Weapons

Dahl’s guns focus on stability, precision and burst fire. These guns feature camouflage coloring and a full auto-fire rate without scoping in. While scoped in, the gun shoots in bursts.

8. Hyperion Weapons

Hyperion weapons will retain their customary high accuracy, with a “sci-fi” styling, featuring glowing elemental effects and bold stripes. Unlike other weapons, the accuracy of Hyperion weapons will increase the longer the trigger is depressed. Note that Atlas Corp was taken over by Handsome Jack, hence the Hyperion weapons are likely a fusion between the two.
