New Video Game Releases Week 34, 2012

Here’s the list of this week’s video game releases. The Summer drought is gone! Popular video games released this week are: Transformers: Fall of Cybertron and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

New on the downloadable games front is:

  • On the PlayStation Store JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure HD, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Legasista, Way of the Samurai 4, Retro/Grade, Michael Jackson: The Experience (PS3), Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (PS Vita & PS3), Gungrave: Overdose (PS2 Classic), The Next Space, Top Trumps All Stars (PSP) become available [updates Tuesday].
  • While on Xbox Live Marketplace there’s The Expendables 2 Videogame today, as well as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure HD (XBLA) being released [updates Wednesday].
  • The Wii Shop, DSiWare & 3DS eShop‘s games are unknown, and Europe’s getting the NES classics Donkey Kong Jr. & NES Open Tournament Golf, a LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Demo, and new Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy DLC (3DS), Rummikub (DSi), and the NEO-GEO classic 2020 Super Baseball (Wii) [updates Thursday].
  • On Steam there’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Darksiders II, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition, Jagged Alliance: Crossfire, The Expendables 2 Videogame, Thirty Flights of Loving, Galaxy on Fire 2 Full HD.

The new retail releases are:

  • Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome – Collector’s Edition (PC)
  • Disciples III Gold (PC)
  • Dungeons – Gold (PC)
  • Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart – Collector’s Edition (PC)
  • Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (Xbox 360, PS3)
