Electronic Arts has accidentally announced Crysis 3 for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3!

EA’s Origin PC download service listed the Crysis 3 box art and details last night for a brief period when you searched for “Crysis 3” on their website. There wasn’t even a description, and since then all references to the new first-person shooter have been removed.

All the Crysis 3 logo image reveals is a collapsing cityscape in the background, possibly a New York City being overrun by jungle, and the Nano Suit-wearing protagonist will be able to wield a new weapon: an advanced compound bow.

According to a Neogaf scan, the European gaming magazine GameReactor is teasing the Crysis 3 reveal for next week. EA confirmed this to press, by saying “The best kept secret in shooters just can’t be contained. Stay tuned for more information on April 16.”

Rumor suggest we’ll have to wait until “Spring 2013” to play the game.

Here’s the Crysis 2 launch trailer to warm you up for the soon-to-be revealed sequel.

Whatever it’ll be about, we can be sure it will have jaw-dropping beautiful graphics! ๐Ÿ™‚
