On iOS App Store: Fingle, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, Hatchi, Tweet Land

From today you can play these new iOS games for iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad via the iTunes App Store. The newest games become available in America at around 11 PM EST and Europe at around 12 AM UK time.

I’m increasingly impressed with the variety of games being released on the App Store, there’s some really unique games that I’ll be highlighting this week. You just have to know where to find them in between all the clones of the same games, not to say that that’s necessarily a bad thing if you’re a fan of the puzzle or strategy genre. My personal favorite this week is Ghost Trick, it’s free to try, so please do! 🙂

Here’s an overview of what iOS games Apple announced:

Content: Fingle (iPad-only)

Description: Light the candles, lower your voice, wear something sensual and turn on your iPad: Fingle now has a special Valentine’s pack. Explore the intimate touch of each others fingers with Fingle’s two-player puzzles. Break the ice or engage friends to get awkwardly close.

Two players drag up to five buttons of one color onto their matching targets; their movement makes it impossible to avoid contact, creating intimate moments with intertwined hands.

Content: Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective

Content: Hatchi
Price: $0.99
Description: Sounds like Tamagotchi? – Hatchi is a retro-looking iPhone app sure to get the nostalgia burning for all those who cared for a virtual pet back in the 1990s when they were at the height of their popularity. Just as with the keychain-sized pets of the 90s, iPhone users now will feed, clean, play with and generally look after their pets to ensure they grow up to be healthy, happy little Hatchis.

The Hatchi monster will go through several stages of growth, and will develop differently depending on the quality of care the player provides. A successfully raised Hatchi monster will be smarter, happier, and require less attention.
