This League of Legends: Rise of the Bot Army preview gives a video tour of what’s new in the latest League of Legends update.

Riot Games has announced that the latest update to the Co-op vs. AI game mode will be arriving soon, featuring an onslaught of brand new bots. The roster of AI opponents will be expanded to 40 total bots, providing a much larger variety of enemy team compositions. That means new tanks, new mages, new carries and new support champions to battle when you take to the Field of Justice alongside your friends in the Co-op vs. AI game mode!

League of Legends – Rise of the Bot Army Preview:

Unfamiliar with League of Legends? League of Legends with its 11 million players, is a competitive online action-RTS game set in an imaginative world. Gamers take the role of a powerful Summoner, calling forth and controlling brave Champions in battle. League of Legends combines the best elements of session-based games with persistent elements of MMORPG’s. Enter the Fields of Justice with your most trusted allies as you fight for your right to rule the world of Valoran. There is only one rule of law among those in the league: Winner rules all.

The best thing about the game is that you can sign up at the League of Legends website and play for free!

Here’s a League of Legends Champion Spotlight featuring Sivir, The Battle Mistress, with expert strategy and tactics provided by Riot Games.

They also have a weekly Summoner Showcase. In Episode #62 you can get a sample of Summoner Style.

PS: Yes, Shaun, I remembered you telling me I needed to cover your favorite game more often. 😉

Any League of Legends fans out there, and if so, do you call your game LOL? 😆
