Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC Plans Revealed

DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2, the sequel to the hit RPG Final Fantasy XIII for Xbox 360 and PS3, has been confirmed… For Japan.

And not only that, but they went into a few specifics.

The first Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC will be entitled Omega and will be released on December 22nd in the Land of the Rising Sun. Once 2012 hits, after New Year’s, characters Serah and Noel will get some extra costumes in the way of Outfit DLC.

These will include the previously confirmed Ezio Assassin’s Creed: Revelations outfit for Noel! This will likely be released in January. Then in February a Pink Bikini DLC will be released for Serah. Additional DLC will likely include the Colloseum costume as downloadable content for Lightning, although that hasn’t been confirmed and is just a rumor.

No word if this type of downoadable content will be released in the West, but you gotta imagine that it will.

The Final Fantasy XIII-2 release date is set for January 31st, 2012 in America and February 3rd in Europe.
