Players will take on the role of a young Dante, journey across the fictitious Limbo City and hack their way through a demonic infestation!
DmC: Devil May Cry is the upcoming action, hack n slash game in Capcom’s Devil May Cry series, developed this time by Ninja Theory, for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 platforms.
Though no specific release date has been announced, it is due to emerge sometime in 2012.

Key Features of DmC: Devil May Cry
Here is a list of key features that will be available in Ninja Theory’s DmC: Devil May Cry based on news and announcements made so far.
In the newest title, Dante can transform with an updated version of the classic Devil Trigger; using it can slow time down, reduce gravity and change his hair and clothing color.
Dante can transform his sword into an axe, scythe and grappling hook, which works similarly to Nero’s Snatch ability. Several more weapons have been confirmed in game including two different sets of pistols. Ebony and Ivory will return.
In this game, Dante is half angel, half demon, which opens up different game modes such as Angel, Demon, (both activated by trigger buttons) and normal.
The game will also focus much more on environment. The city itself can be dragged into Limbo; in this place, roads lead to nowhere, alleyways close off and locations morph and distort with shocking regularity.
Dante’s weapons and abilities will be interchangeable, which allows for interchangeable combos and attacks! There will be a bigger emphasis on the aerial combat too. For example, players can juggle enemies in the air whilst stringing together long and varied combos.
Red Orbs will be making a comeback in DmC and so too will the “Style Meter”. Instead of being represented by a grade however, the Style Meter will shine through the soundtrack; background music will increase in volume, beat and style depending on how the player is doing. The music itself will, once again, be of the grunge/metal genre.
