S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Cancelled. GSC Studio Closed
Rumors abound that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is cancelled and that developer GSC Game World has closed up shop.
This will be a very sad turn of events for the Ukranian developer if the rumors are true, as they made many a-fan with their first-person S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, which has sold over four million copies.
Reportedly, the studio was either shut down by law enforcement, or by the founder of the company, Sergei Grigorovich, following issues with the game’s development. However both reasons sound a bit strange.
