“What Starts With War, Ends In Death”.
During the just-aired SpikeTV Video Game Awards 2011, one AAA action adventure from 2012 that was not part of the show is THQ’s highly anticipated Darksiders 2, sequel to the award-winning, critically acclaimed, and best-selling Darksiders.
While Darksiders 2 wasn’t shown or mentioned (since the game doesn’t come out until next year, for Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U); THQ chose to air an all-new trailer for the game as a commercial during the award ceremony, urging fans to pre-order the title today.
In Darksiders 2 players take on the role of Death, in lieu of his brother, War; and get to see the events of the original game (along with new ones), from an all-new perspective.
Sadly, nothing new about Darksiders 2 is revealed in this epic trailer… yet it is still totally badass. Cinematic movie-theater-styling FTW!
