This upcoming video game by Starbreeze Studios is due to be released in early 2012 for the PC (Microsoft Windows), Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 platforms. A reboot of the Syndicate series, Syndicate 2012 will completely transform the series’ genre from a tactical shooter to an FPS a.k.a. First Person Shooter.
Set in 2069, the verse of Syndicate will present us with a world no longer governed by politicians resulting in regional divisions controlled by mega-corporations known as syndicates. Since the consumer requires a device to access the world’s data and control technology via a neural chip, these syndicates have revolutionized how the consumer interacts with the digital world in which they reside.
