Nintendo downloads this week in America and Europe. The games go live at 9AM Pacific time on Thursdays.
Nintendo has now added new/classic games to the Wii Shop Channel, Nintendo DSi Shop and Nintendo 3DS eShop. Users with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points or Nintendo DSi Points to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel. Nintendo DSi Points can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. While the Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service, where virtual wallets are added to using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. A Nintendo Points Card can be purchased at retail locations or Amazon.com.

This week’s 3DSWare eShop game is:
• Double Dragon (Aksys, Game Boy, $2.99)
Description: Join Billy as he fights enemies using punches, kicks and throws, as well as a multitude of weapons, in order to save his girlfriend, Marian. Many enemies will try to stop you from reaching the end of each stage.
• DreamWorks Animation Halloween Collection -You’ve seen them on Nintendo Video…now download them for keeps. “The Pig Who Cried Werewolf,” “Night of the Living Carrots” and one more surprise video coming soon, all with your favorite DreamWorks Animation characters, available in the Nintendo eShop. • Night of the Living Carrots Part 2 – DreamWorks Animation – B.O.B. and the gang from Monsters vs. Aliens come together on Halloween to save their town from a takeover by zombie carrots. Will B.O.B. be able to overcome his fears to save the day? (For Nintendo 3DS)

• Castle Conqueror: Revolution (Circle Entertainment, 500 DSi Points / $4.99)
Description: The Empire then arrived on the island and now control everything, and are seeking valuable resources and gold. They have ruined the island’s environment and have hunted down and killed the tribal people; some of whom are your friends. You must now stop the Empire and protect your people by becoming a commander and leading your people against the evil Empire. (For Nintendo 3DS / Nintendo DSi)
This week’s new WiiWare game is:
• Fish Tank (iFun4All, 500 Wii Points)
Description: FishTank is a combination of a very popular Match 3 genre with a puzzle video gamestyle. It is an arcade-style matching game but instead of matching gems or blocks you collect shoals of colored fish. In order to do that, you need to build up a combination of four or more identical fish and press a corresponding button to remove them from the net. The gameplay goes horizontally – not vertically as you might be used to.

Nintendo 3DS eShop:
• Pyramids (Enjoy Gaming, £3.60 / €4)
Description: Pyramids is a puzzle/platform game where an explorer tries to escape from pyramids with his loot: a task that will not be easy. There are many dangerous traps and monsters that will put your dexterity and ingenuity to the test. The explorer can use TNT and a gun, but his best friend will be his shovel, which allows him to create and destroy blocks. These blocks can be used as stairs, as bridges, or for protection… The explorer will venture through 54 challenging 3D levels, divided into 6 worlds.

• Academy: Checkers (Gamelion, 500 DSi Points / £4.50 / €5)
Description: The world’s most famous two-player board game is joining our Academy. If there’s no one around, skilful AI players will play you in three different difficulty modes over two Checkers variants: English Checkers and International Draughts.
