Blue Color Wii Bundle Revealed For Europe

A new Blue Wii color has been announced in Europe as a system bundle for the upcoming Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. It will be released on November 18th, 2011.

However this new Wii comes with a huge caveat, the system NO LONGER SUPPORTS GameCube games or accessories. That’s right, this new Blue-Wii fully removes GameCube backwards compatibility! This will surely be a dealbreaker for many.

The blue-colored Wii bundle includes a blue wii system, blue-colored Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuck controllers, and a copy of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, as well as a sticker sheet featuring characters from the game.

The games marks a return for the best-selling series that has the duo of Mario and Sonic characters teaming up once again, just in time for Christmas. New events include Football, Show Jumping and Canoeing, while favorite events return once again. Classic events include the 100m Sprint, Aquatics and Table Tennis. You can even combine the events with the Dream Events to make everything better than ever.

Mario or Sonic can take to the streets of London to make the city your personal playground. You can choose your favorite characters from either series and in the London Party Mode play minigames linked to some of the most famous landmarks in the old city.
