Top 20 Video Games to Buy for Christmas 2011

What are the Top 20 Video Games to buy for Christmas? This year’s holiday season will be a fully-packed one with tons of triple A, heavy duty titles on offer in almost every genre for every platform.

The two most obvious heavy-hitters come in the first-person shooter genre as the two titans, Modern Warfare 3 from Activision and Battlefield 3 from EA, battle it out for superiority.

In the third-person shooter category Microsoft has their titanic Gears of War 3 (out now), while Nintendo gives their Wii system swan song and the largest game they’ve ever built in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 get casual game titan Just Dance 3.

In the third-person action category we get Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Batman: Arkham City and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, while the sports category gets NBA 2K12 and Madden NFL 12.

And of course, RPG fans will be in heaven with the epic The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the already released Dues Ex: Human Revolution.
