Rayman Origins Trailer Goes Around The World

Rayman Origins is an extremely cartoony side-scrolling four-player co-op platformer for retail, not a downloadable title as originally announced.

It will hit Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii this November, followed by 3DS and PS Vita next year.

Rayman Origins looks absolutely beautiful and literally looks like a high-definition cartoon in motion. The art design really reminds me of Ren and Stimpy.

The game features drop-in/drop-out play where you and three friends can join in at any time, playing as Rayman, Globox and two Teensies. The game features over 60 side-scrolling levels with collectables to grab, secrets that require cooperation and sound & music that goes along with players actions.

Storywise the game is a prequel and origin story to the original Rayman and Rayman 2: The Great Escape, and will tell the story of how an immature and uncontrollable Rayman and his grotesque companion Globox become heroes.

The game features over 12 environments and different worlds to explore, which you can see in this Rayman Origins trailer.

This game looks absolutely awesome. It looks like Rayman Origins may be the “Donkey Kong Country Returns” or “Kirby’s Epic Yarn” of this holiday season.
