A major new Plants vs Zombies downloadable content update has been dolled out for the game and adds 9 mini-games to the proceedings.
These games were taken from the PC and Windows Phone 7 versions of the game, and include a new Microgame, and new Game Center Achievements to earn as well.
The 9 new mini-games come in packs of three that you can purchase using Coins that you acquire from playing, or alternatively by paying for the mini-games outright at 99 cents per pack. Which will instantly unlock them in your game.
The first of the three packs includes Walnut Bowling, Seeing Stars and Bobsled Bonanza. The second includes Invisi-Ghoul, Last Stand and ZomBotany 2. The final pack includes Beghouled Twist, Pogo Party and Zombie Nimble Zombie Quick.
Additionally the new update includes a Race to China microgame where players are challenged to dig their way to China as quickly as possible, earning Game Center Achievements for emerging from the depths in victory.
