Dead Island features many Easter Eggs and Secrets that crafty players will discover, whether they are references to other horror cult classics or something else entirely, here is a list of some of them.
Jason of Friday the 13th Fame

Weapon References
Keep a sharp eye out for Weapon names that are references to pop culture and gaming. For example you’ll find a Weapon called the “Peak of Destiny” in reference to the Tenacious D Jack Black movie “The Pick of Destiny”. You’ll also find two obvious Weapon names that refer to popular videogames. These include a weapon called “Assassin Greed” (referencing the Assassin’s Creed series from Ubisoft) and a weapon called “Master Chef” (referencing Halo’s Master Chief protagonist).
