Over 40 Just Dance Kids 2 songs make up the soundtrack for this upcoming multi-platform sequel on Xbox 360 Kinect, PS3 Move and Wii.
For the first time, the Just Dance Kids spin-off series, targeting a much younger audience, will hit additional platforms instead of being Wii-exclusive. The Xbox 360 version makes use of the Kinect Motion Sensor, the PS3 version makes use of the Move Motion Controller and the Wii version makes use of the Wii Remote Plus features.
In addition to hit songs such as “Love Me”, “Whip My Hair” and “Just the Way You Are”, Just Dance Kids 2 features mixes of classic kids songs like “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” and “The Hokey Pokey” in several languages in addition to songs from hit kids movies and TV shows. It will be released in North America on October 25th, 2011.
The Xbox 360 version allows kids to play hands-free, and make their own music videos using the Kinect Motion Sensing Camera. Kids can also create their own dance routines and save them. The PS3 version uses the PlayStation Eye Camera and Move Motion Controller System to take photos of the kids while they are dancing. The Wii version features an exclusive multiplayer mode called “Balloon Pop”, which has them shaking the Wii Remote to pop balloons for points while dancing. All three versios feature a “Non-Stop Play” mode that allows kids to play in blocks of 15 or 30 minutes, 1 hour or 1 hour and 20 minutes; without the kids having to push any buttons or navigate through menus for non-stop play.
