America is lost. Four years after the epic conclusion of Resistance 2, dishonorably discharged Sentinel Joseph Capelli is in hiding from the invading Chimeran menace with a pocket of survivors, including his new wife and young son. But when Dr. Fyodor Malikov arrives with a desperate plan, he sets into motions the events of Resistance 3, the third installment in the popular full-featured first-person shooter series. Resistance 3 is created by critically-acclaimed developer Insomniac Games exclusively for the PlayStation 3 system.
Set in a brutal, alternate 1950s universe, America has been successfully conquered and destroyed by the deadly Chimeran race, forcing the last remaining human survivors to seek refuge in hiding. Players must take on the role of Joseph Capelli, the last surviving Sentinel from a clandestine military program, as he comes out of hiding to journey across a land of ruin in a heroic fight for survival against the merciless Chimera. In addition to an epic single-player campaign, Resistance 3 offers two-player online or split-screen co-op through the single-player campaign, and a new, focused progression-based multiplayer experience.

Chapter 1 – Home
Hey everyone! Welcome to the Resistance 3 walkthrough.
The first thing you will need to do is make your way around and have a look for some items.
Head through the hole in the wall and turn to the right, once you have done that, make your way through the mines and make your way to the shooting range to pick up your Bullseye.
Make your way over to the range and have a shoot with your new toy!
Watch the screen for on-screen instructions to give you some hints on how to use your Bullseye, once you have completed your first shooting task, you will be given them Magnum.
Then try out the EMO grenades.
Make your way through the mine tunnel and head to the table and listen to the instructions.
Once you have got your instructions, you will need to make your way to the bowling alley to meet Nate.
Keep low and make your way through the tunnels following your revolutionary partner.
Head up the ladder and keep low with your partners, you will then be greeted by the first Hybrid. You will need to spread out and take cover behind the cars and take out all the Hybrids.
You will then need to take out the larger enemy, first you will need to bring down the shield and then shoot at the yellow target, you will be able to make your away up the ladder on the side of the ice-cream parlour and shoot your enemy from above. Take cover behind the ice-cream sign.
Once you have defeated the Steal Head you will enter a cutscene.
