PLAYSTATION 3 TROPHIES LIST

Earn Bronze (53), Silver (5), Gold (1), Platinum (1) or Hidden (0) Trophies to increase your Gamer Level.

1. Platinum Trophy (Platinum) – Obtain all Gold, Silver, and Bronze Trophies for Resistance 3.

2. Brutal (Gold) – Complete Campaign Mode on Superhuman. — Oooo do this sting or what?! Yup, to earn this “Brutal” Gold Trophy, you must beat the game on the very hard Superhuman difficulty setting. Tips? Be extremely cautious, use Grenades whenever possible, be careful of ammo usage, and make sure to use the best Weapons for the task at hand. Efficiency is what will ultimately keep you alive. Be prepared to meet the Grim Reaper enough that he sends your sorry soul back, because you’re going to die A TON. However it is not impossible. Just extremely difficult! “Dooo ittt Chucky dooo itt.” 😀 (Rugrats quote :P)

3. Irresistible Force (Silver) – Complete Campaign Mode on any difficulty.

4. Master Mechanic (Silver) – Fully upgrade all weapons in Campaign Mode. — To earn this Trophy, you will want to level up a Weapon to max by using it in a normal fashion, and then move onto the next weapon and use that one exclusively or a lot until its maxed out. Mix and repeat. Since there are a lot of Weapons this Trophy will likely take two or even three playthroughs to earn. Too bad it’s only a Silver Trophy…

5. Archivalist (Silver) – Collect all journals. — Find and collect 100% of the hidden Journals in the game! NOT AN EASY TASK! Thankfully you can read our Resistance 3 Journals Locations Guide to find each and every one of them! Doing so will earn you this Silver “Archivalist” Trophy! Huzzah! Although sadly its not a Gold Trophy…

6. Silent Partner (Silver) – Damage the same enemy in Cooperative Mode for 100 kills. — Reports say that you and your partner, when playing cooperative mode, must BOTH damage an enemy who is then killed by either player. Do this 100 times and you’ll earn this Silver “Silent Partner” Trophy. Give me a T! Give me an E! Give me an A! Give me an M! Give me a W! Give me an O! Give me an R! Give me a K! What does it spell?! TEAMWORK! 😀

7. Short Out (Bronze) – Defeat the Stalker in under 60 seconds. — Here are the steps you need to follow in order to kill the Stalker in under 1 minute, thus earning you this Bronze “Short Out” Trophy. As soon as you start fighting the first group of Hybrids, make a beeline behind you and toward the shed in the middle. Climb the ladder to pick up the EMP Grenades. Get as many as you can, at least five. Use the EMP Grenade to bust through the Stalker’s Shield then use the Bullseye to attack the while running towards the Stalker. Mix and repeat this tactic, always throwing an EMP as soon as the Stalker uses his Shield. If you run out of bullets with the Bullseye, quickly press Triangle to switch to the Mangum. Then follow-up with shots and Alt-Fires (R2) until you finally kill the bastard! If done quickly enough you should earn this Trophy! Hurrah!

8. Zookeeper (Bronze) – Kill the Brawler in Haven without taking any damage.

This is a story related trophy. The difficulty doesn’t matter at all (won’t change the damage the enemies can take). You can only get it while fighting the so called ‘Brawler’ in Chapter 4 (Main Street Defence). It’s actually not that hard. There won’t be any other enemies around and the Brawler is kinda slow. Don’t get too close or he will most likely stomp you. Throw all of your grenades on him to make it a quick fight. Be careful when he is about to throw an object (e.g. car) on you. You might want to run away or hide behind some cover.

9. Gardener (Bronze) – Destroy 100 blast roots. — There are two ways you can go about getting this Trophy. If you want to do it the “normal” way, then keep in mind to have your eyes open for Blast Roots that you come across while playing through the game. Simply destroy each one you come across and you’ll eventually hit the 100 mark needed to earn this Bronze “Gardener” Trophy. Alternatively, you can easily destroy 20 Blast Roots while on the boat in Chapter 5. Simply keep replaying this stage, and do so a couple of times, and you should reach the 100 Blast Roots destroyed that is needed to earn this Trophy.

10. Slaybells (Bronze) – Make Santa and his reindeer fly.

Story related trophy that is easy to miss. In chapter 5 you will be on a boat. You can find Santa in the Section called ‘Escapte to St. Lous’ directly after you evade the Stalkers and Malikov alerts you to the incoming drop ships. To the left of the boot you’ll notice Santa and his reindeer’s as cardboard cut-outs that are sitting on one of the large rooftops to your left after passing the giant (which destroys the bridge). Shoot everything you can see and the trophy will pop once you’ve destroyed the Blast Pods and given the rotund old man a ride he won’t soon forget.

11. Bouncer (Bronze) – Keep Chimeran forces from entering the Brewpub. — This Trophy is one of the hardest Trophies to earn in the game. Because of this fact, set the difficulty level to Casual before you attempt it. During this sequence, use the Deadeye and Marksman Weapons and shoot out of the window on the far left side. When you are at the right window, concentrate on using Alt-Fire (R2) for the two weapons, as well as throwing Grenades. Shoot as much as you can. Once the Chimera close in and get too close to you, use the Auger and aim down to shoot any of them that are close to breaking in. This may take you a few tries before you succeed. If you do you’ll earn this Bronze “Bouncer” Trophy. Good luck!

12. Calm Under Pressure (Bronze) – Defeat the Brawler in the Post Office in under 2 minutes. — The biggest tip for this fight is to remember to constantly fire at the Brawler by using the Bullseye to tag the weakspots. Tag each area and don’t forget to use Grenades whenever possible. Keep it up and you should earn this Calm Under Pressure Bronze Trophy soon enough.

13. Snipe Hunt (Bronze) – Collect all Deadeye rifles without dying while fighting the Widowmaker in St. Louis. — Be sure to attempt this Trophy on Casual difficulty, as your biggest adversary will be staying alive and not perishing. Be sure to Sprint the entire time and focus on running around to collect the Deadeye’s. Sprinting will help you avoid damage from the Widowmaker. Keep it up and you should earn this “Snipe Hunt” Bronze Trophy.

14. Roops! (Bronze) – Knock a Hybrid off the cliffs in Mt. Pleasant, PA. — This Trophy can be earned at a sequence in “The Hunt” (Mt. Pleasant, PA). After you exit out of the mine and Malikov alerts that he sees you, you’ll find some Hybrids around the corner to your right who have their backs turned to you. You’ll then see a cliff to the left. Your goal is to lure them towards the cliff and then shoot them off using the Rossmore! If you don’t succeed the first time, simply die and try again. Successfully splat a Chimera on the rocks below and you’ll earn this “Roops!” Bronze Trophy.

15. Frickin’ Laser Beams (Bronze) – Get to the first mineshaft without being hit by sniper fire in Mt. Pleasant, PA. — This is a really tough Trophy to get, as you can imagine. One tip is to always stay crouched and walk extremely slowly. If the Snipers are close enough, you can see them using the Auger, but you won’t be able to in the second section of the level, as they will be too far. Keep an eye out for Blast Roots and destroy them whenever possible, as this will usually take out the Sniper with it. Be sure to use the Alternative Fire (R2) of the Deadeye which will help you take the enemy out in a single hit. There is a Sniper that is really hard to reach who is in the second section to the far right. Your best bet here is to stay in the house as much as possible, and keep your Deadeye cocked, aimed and ready to go. You will likely die on your first few attempts, if so simply restart and try again. Good luck! If you succeed you’ll earn this “Frickin’ Laser Beams” Bronze Trophy for your trouble!

16. Vehicular Manslaughter (Bronze) – Destroy 10 Warden vehicles while on the train. — The Tip for this Trophy is to keep your eagle eyes out for any and all Warden vehicles you pass. If you see them, blow it up! Do so using the Carbine’s Alternative Fire (R2) or the Wildfire if you have ammo for it. Destroy 10 vehicles and you’ll earn this Bronze “Vehicular Manslaughter” Trophy.

17. Hello Driver (Bronze) – Kill 5 drivers without destroying their vehicle. — First off, be sure to aim for this Trophy separately from the “Vehicular Manslaughter” Trophy as described above. For this one, you will want to time your shots carefully. The tip here is to use either the Carbine or the Deadeye. Succeed and this “Hello Driver” Bronze Trophy should be yours!

18. BARF! (Bronze) – Make 6 Wardens puke at the same time in the prison. — This Trophy is easy enough! Simply use the Mutator’s Alternative Fire (R2) whenever you see a crowd of Warden and you should easily earn this “BARF!” Bronze Trophy.

19. One Eyed Jack (Bronze) – Find and kill ‘Jack’ in Graterford Prison. — Who is One-Eyed Jack? The deception in this Trophy’s description comes from the delusion that it is referring to a man. It is not. Instead it is referring to a Sock Puppet! You’ll find the Jack-In-the-Box-style puppet beneath the Prison in the Sewers. Find and destroy him and you’ll earn this “One Eyed Jack” Bronze Trophy! “WHERE’S WALDO?!” Here is is!

20. No Escape (Bronze) – Destroy all Warden vehicles in the Motorpool. — This Trophy is pretty easy to get. Once the Wardens are under attack during the Motorpool section, you need to destroy all of the Warden’s Vehicles. Thus you’ll earn this “No Escape” Bronze Trophy.

21. In This Together (Bronze) – Defeat the Widowmaker in Times Square without killing a single Hybrid. — This Trophy can be a tough one to get. A key tip is to keep in mind that the Widowmaker willl concentrate it’s attention on the Hybrids if they are around. Use this to your advantage. Once all of them have been taken out by the Widowmaker, more will be dropped in. When this happens you might have to switch sides. Keep your distance from the Hybrids so that they don’t attack you and stay focused on the Widowmaker. While the Widowmaker is distracted, tag and fire at it and you should eventually defeat it and earn this Bronze “In This Together” Trophy. Huzzah!

22. Good Fences (Bronze) – Don’t allow any counter-attackers into the Washington Square base. — The key tip for this Trophy is to rely on the Alternative Fire for the Marksman and be sure it is upgraded to the Max. Also focus on using the Deadeye, Auger and Wildfire. Lastly, be sure to set the difficulty to Casual and unload as much Alt Fire plus Grenades as you can! Keep this up and you should eventually earn this “Good Fences” Bronze Trophy as your reward.

23. Up Your Arsenal (Bronze) – Get a kill with every weapon in your arsenal.

24. Overload (Bronze) – Use the EMP to take down 10 Steelhead Auger shields. — One tip for earning this Trophy is to wait until the Steelheads have used their Auger Shield. At this moment throw an EMP at them. Rinse, recycle and repeat and you’ll eventually earn this Trophy.

25. Cheap Shots (Bronze) – Kill 25 enemies firing the Auger through an object. — You may earn this Trophy while playing through the game. But this “Cheap Shots” Bronze Trophy will be easier to earn if you keep in mind to focus on firing the Auger to kill enemies from the very outset.

26. Grenadier (Bronze) – Kill 3 or more Military Chimera with a single Grenade.

This is very simple and can turn out to be your first Trophy in Resistance 3. In the very beginning of Chapter 2 you will go up some stairs. Now you will talk to a guy who is giving you grenades and opens up the next door for you (can’t be missed). A dropship will come in to drop down a group of enemies. Just throw the grenade right under the dropship and the trophy should easily be yours.

27. Raining Limbs (Bronze) – Kill 25 Grims using only grenades. — This Trophy can be used by playing through the game, but it is much easier to earn in one go by focusing on Chapter 11 (Mt. Pleasant, PA). This chapter is full of Grims that you will have to fight, which will present you with your best change for taking out a ton of them by using Grenades. Repeat and you should earn this Trophy.

28. Corpse Wagon (Bronze) – Detonate fallen Leeches to kill 25 enemies. — To earn this Trophy you will need to kill a Leech enemy when it is surrounded by Grims. You will need to make sure your timing is down pat and wait until the Grims are close enough to get caught in the blast that occurs when you shoot them (they’ll be on the ground). You’ll find these Leeches in Chapter 11.

29. Bloodborne (Bronze) – Kill 3 enemies simultaneously using a single mutated body.

30. Grasshopper Unit (Bronze) – Kill 5 Longlegs in mid-jump. — Be sure to use the Bullseye’s Alternate Fire (R2) in order to tag Long-Legs, once they’re tagged keep shooting at them and you’ll eventually take them out during mid-jump. Mix and repeat 5 times and you’ll earn this Trophy.

31. Sandman (Bronze) – Kill 5 Grims in a row using only headshots. — This Trophy can be earned throughout the course of the game, but an easy and quick way to earn it is directly after you first lay your hands on the Deadeye Weapon. Once you’ve obtained the Deadeye, you will find a window nearby. Standing outside should be five Grims. Here is your chance to earn this Bronze “Sandman” Trophy! Crouch, which will improve your aim, and then aim for a headshot. If you can successfully kill all 5 of them and lop their heads off, you’ll earn this Trophy! However it’s not an easy task and might take you a free tries. But keep at it and eventually this Trophy will be yours!

32. Body Count (Bronze) – Kill 1000 enemies. — This Trophy should eventually come while simply playing through the campaign. The best way to earn these types of Trophies is to just forget about it altogether. Play the game a lot and take your time killing enemies and you’ll eventually earn this “Body Count” Bronze Trophy as your reward.

33. Juggler (Bronze) – Simultaneously burn, freeze and poison 4 separate enemies. — This Trophy can be earned by mutilating your foes in a number of fun ways! First up you’ll want to use the Mutator to Poison them! Then use the Cryogun to Freeze them! Last, but DEFINITELY not least, use your upgraded Rossmore to roast them to a crisp with some fire! Mix and repeat to four different types of enemies and you’ll earn this Bronze “Juggler” Trophy! Hell yeah!

34. Nothing But Net (Bronze) – Score a basket by lobbing a grenade through a basketball hoop. — Time to shoot some hoops! You’ll encounter a Basketball Hoop that is your key to earning this Trophy during your fight with the Widowmaker during the end of Chapter 9 (St. Louis). Once you’ve done enough damage to the boss, it will leap up to a ledge to regroup. As soon as it does this, head over to the Basketball Hoop and throw a grenade into it! In order to earn the Achievement your grenade must bounce off the backboard and into the net! Use that square box, man! Because white men can’t jump! 😉

35. Medusa (Bronze) – Freeze 5 enemies at once and destroy them with a blast of the Cryogun’s secondary fire. — Try and get as many Grims tightly packed together as you can. Once a group of them is together, freeze them and blast them to smithereens using R2.

36. Bull In A China Shop (Bronze) – Freeze and melee kill 3 Ravagers. — Do exactly as the Trophy description says, freeze every Ravager and then Melee them to bits. The best place to do this however is in the Subway (think train not sandwich) section in Chapter 17.

37. Weaponsmith (Bronze) – Upgrade 5 weapons in Campaign Mode. — This Trophy should be easily earned while playing through the game. In general the first five Weapons you’ll upgrade are typically the Bullseye, Auger, DeadEye, Rossmore and Marksman. Get five Weapons upgraded during the Campaign and you’ll earn this Bronze “Weaponsmith” Trophy.

38. This Is My Rifle (Bronze) – Fully upgrade one weapon in Campaign Mode. — A great tip to earning this Trophy, which may happen as you play through the game, is to focus on upgrading the Bullseye in order to earn this Trophy. That’s because the Bullseye is the most common Weapon that you’ll have with you throughout most of the game. Ammo for the Bullseye is also dropped more frequently than for any other Weapon, which means you’re likely to use it the most. Upgrade it all the way and you’ll earn this Bronze “This Is My Rifle” Trophy!

39. Backstabber (Bronze) – Kill 20 enemies with melee while they are idle. — A tip for killing enemies easier by using stealth is to sneak up on them and press the R3 Button (click the right stick in) while crouching. The best place to earn this Trophy in one go is in the Prison stage, where you can easily stalk a lot of enemies who will have their backs turned.

40. Toast (Bronze) – Use the upgraded Deadeye secondary fire to kill 2+ enemies, 5 times. — You’ll earn the secondary fire for the Deadeye Weapon once you’ve upgraded it to Level 3. You’ll then want to shoot the weapon into crowds of Chimera, Hybrids in particular, and you should easily earn this Trophy (Alt fire by charging R2).

41. Counter-Sniper (Bronze) – Use the Deadeye to kill 20 snipers. — This Trophy is most easily earned in the latter stages of the game. Just remember to use your Deadeye to kill Snipers as much as possible, and you should easily earn this Trophy while playing through the campaign.

42. Electric Avenue (Bronze) – Use the EMP to take down 25 drones. — This Trophy may take some time to earn, be sure to slowly chip away at it whenever the opportunity presents itself. You’ll have a great chance of earning a lot of EMP Drone take downs while you are aboard the Terraformer during the final two chapters.

43. Warp Speed (Bronze) – Use the Atomizer secondary fire to kill 30 enemies. — A tip for earning this Trophy is to keep in mind to use your Atomizer’s Alternate Fire (press R2) whenever you encounter a large group of Grims.

44. Feeling Lucky, Punk (Bronze) – Detonate multiple Magnum rounds to kill 2+ enemies at once, 5 times. — This Trophy is easy enough to get, as the description says, focus on shooting crowds of Hybrid with Magnum Rounds and then detonating by pressing R2.

45. Fireworks (Bronze) – Use the Wildfire secondary fire to kill 6 enemies in one shot. — While you are aboard the Terraformer in the final chapters of the game, shoot the Wildfire into large groups of Chimera, especially Hybrid. You should be able to score this Trophy pretty easily.

46. Boomstick (Bronze) – Use the upgraded Rossmore secondary fire to set 6 enemies on fire at once. — This Trophy is easiest to get in Chapter 11. At the point where you are fighting at least six Grims at once, allow them to completely surround you. Don’t be alarmed if you take damage, because you want them to be as close to you as possible. Once you’re surrounded with enough of them, use the Rossmore’s Alternative Fire by pressing R2. If the enemies are close enough, you should earn this “Boomstick” Bronze Trophy. However it may take a few tries before you can nail it down. Just remember that your Rossmore must be upgraded to level 3 first.

47. Tag, You’re It (Bronze) – Kill 40 Bullseye tagged enemies. — This Trophy is an easy one to get. Use the Alternative Fire (Press R2) for the Bullseye which allows you to tag enemies. Then just shoot normally. In fact if you simply tag an enemy and then shoot aimlessly like a madman you should earn this Bronze “Tag, You’re It” Trophy in no time!

48. Opportunity Knocks (Bronze) – Kill 20 enemies with environmental objects. — This Trophy is easiest to earn in Chapter 5 while you are riding atop the boat. During this segment, take aim at the Blast Roots. If done correctly, the blast radius should kill enough nearby Grims for you to earn this Bronze “Opportunity Knocks” Trophy! It is possible to earn this Trophy with one playthrough, but it can be tough so you may have to try it again next time around.

49. Expert Sniper (Bronze) – Get 50 headshot kills in Campaign Mode. — The best tip for this Trophy is to use the Deadeye, and simply aim for the noggin of all your enemies. It can take quite a while so you may need some patience, but eventually you should earn this Bronze “Expert Sniper” Trophy for netting 50 headshot kills in the Campaign Mode.

50. Collector (Bronze) – Collect 10 journals.

51. Bookworm (Bronze) – Collect 50% of the journals. — You must collect each and every Journal in the game! Thankfully you can read our Resistance 3 Journals Locations Guide to find each and every one of them! Doing so will earn you this Bronze “Bookworm” Trophy for collecting 50% of them. 🙂

52. Waste Not (Bronze) – Get 5 headshot kills with one Deadeye clip. — See the Sandman Trophy. Like with that Trophy, for here you will want to study your enemy and learn their movements. Time and aim correctly for the noggin, and you should get off a headshot. Earn 5 with only one Deadeye clip and this Trophy is yours. The Sandman Trophy presents a perfect segment to also go for this Trophy.

53. Shoe Leather (Bronze) – Travel 30 km on foot.
54. Land, Sea, And Air (Bronze) – Travel in 3 different vehicles on your journey.

55. Buckshot (Bronze) – Kill 2+ enemies with one Rossmore blast. — This Trophy is easy to get. All you need to do is allow multiple Grims to surround and hit you. Once they are close-in, start firing with Rossmore. This Bronze “Buckshot” Trophy is easiest to earn when your Rossmore is fully leveled up, but you can earn this Trophy before then as well using the above strategy.

56. Access Denied (Bronze) – Absorb 1000 damage with Auger Shields. — To earn this Trophy, you will want to use the Auger’s alternative fire (press R2) which allows you to shield yourself with the Auger Shield. Doing this absorbs damage. So the point is to use this ability as much as you can to keep absorbing damage. However if you want to get a lot in one go, then use the Auger Shield whenever you are facing a full frontal assault of Hybrids, which will happen during the latter portions of the game. Eventually this “Access Denied” Bronze Trophy will be yours.

57. From the Hip (Bronze) – Kill 50 enemies with the Bullseye or Marksman while moving, without using zoom. — A tip is to use the Bullseye, because you’ll likely have more ammo with it at all times.

58. Chamber Full of Death (Bronze) – Kill 5+ Hybrids at once by using the HE .44 Magnum secondary fire. — This Trophy is easiest to get during the latter portions of the game, where a ton of Hybrids are together. You’ll likely be in either the NYC or Terraformer, simply shoot them with the Magnum and detonate with R2. Eventually this “Chamber Full of Death” Bronze Trophy should be yours!

59. Helping Hands (Bronze) – Revive a Co-op partner 20 times.
