Secret Achievements & Hidden Trophies
These Trophies/Achievements are optional and are usually unlocked when you go out of your way to complete them. Many of these can only be unlocked as and when you get to them, once you have missed them there is no going back. Accept for when starting a new game.
39.Deus Ex Machina (50 Gamerpoints / Silver Trophy) – Experience all the different endings that Deus Ex: Human Revolution has to offer.
This Video below will show you where to find Taggart and Sarif. Once you have found them just continue story as normal, then you get to the part where you can choose, quickly save your game, so you can go back to see the other endings. Once you have watched all 4 the achievement will unlock.
40.The D Project (15 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You watched the entire credit list and saw the surprise at the end.
41.Good Soul (15 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – Against all odds, you saved Faridah Malik’s life.
At the beginning of the construction site area, where Malik crashes you have the option of protecting her while she repairs the aircraft. If you manage to take out all the enemies and save her then the achievement will unlock.
This was done on normal, on the hardest difficulty this will be one of the most challenging parts to complete.
42.Hangar 18 (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You found and read the secret message. Now you know too much…
*STORY SPOILER WARNING*
If you are playing this game and haven’t been up to this point, you’ll want to skip this if you don’t want to spoil it for yourself. But if you are still reading this, then you’ll want to know this achievement / trophy.
In the Omega Ranch, after you have defeated Namir and spoken to Megan, you are supposed to go the hanger and press the button on the control panel to let Malik in so she can pick up the scientists. Once they have boarded the aircraft, the door to the room your in will open. Go through the door and down the stairs, and go left at the bottom of the staircase. You will come to a dead end with a security door at the end. To your left in a corner is box, move it out of the way. This will reveal the secret room with a computer in it. Hack this computer and read the email. The contains the lyrics to a song called Hanger 18 by Megadeath.
Tip: This is not only a stage 5 hack, but it’s the most difficult stage 5 hack throughout the entire game. Bring lots of stopworms and nuke viruses beforehand to help you out.
Main Mission: M1 – Rescuing Megan and her team.
Primary Objectives: Open the Hangar roof.
43.Balls (5 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – Seems you like playing with balls, eh?
You can get this achievement as soon as you can access the streets of the city. The basketball court can be hard to find so I hope this will help explain how to find it. To the right of the limb clinic there is a gas station, and to the right of that an alleyway that leads around the back. Follow this alley way to the end and keep to the right. At the end you will see a boarded-up area on the right, there is a gap. Go through this gap and you will be see the basketball court.
Once you have found it, just pick the ball up and try get it through the hoop. I have found that throwing from an angle works better but can be tricky as it does hit the edge and bounce off.
Tip: Its best to try get this achievement before you get the move/throw heavy objects augment as this will increase your throw range and you may find it makes it a bit harder. However if you have got the Move/Throw then you can make it a bit easier by just moving the dumpster in front of the pole and getting another box which you can find on you left hand side down the alley you came from.
Place the box on the dumpster, grab the ball and jump up the box and aim down the hoop and throw the ball in. It may bounce off a few times as it did for me, but eventually it went in. Alot quicker than trying to throw it in from a distance.

44.Unforeseen Consequence (15 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You convinced Zeke Sanders to let his hostage go.
This will be near the end of Chapter Two, After coming out of a elevator and making your way up some stairs. You will come up to a double door, when you open this door, a cutscene will start and from here you can use the four options below to convince Zeke to let the hostage go.
The four Options are as follows:
Option 1 – Try to Free Josie
Option 2 – Reason
Option 3 – Empathize
Option 4 – Reason
You can also use Free Josie, Empathize, Empathize and Reason
45.The Throwdown (15 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You convinced the smooth-talking politician Bill Taggart to tell the truth in public.
During your confrontation with Taggart. Try these 4 options to get him to tell the truth. Just make sure you save your game before this as it can vary at times.
1) – Discredit
2) – Redirect
3) – Redirect
4) – Redirect
You can also use Discredit, Redirect, Confront, Redirect.
At times it may vary, just be sure to save before entering the room so you can reload that save point if you didn’t get it.
46.The Last Straw (15 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You talked Doctor Isaias Sandoval out of suicide.
You need to talk Doctor Isaias Sandoval out of suicide. These are the following options I used to unlock this achievement.
1) Inspire
2) Inspire
3) Inspire
You can also use Empathize, Empathize, Empathize.
47.The Final Countdown (15 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You showed millionaire Hugh Darrow that his logic was flawed.
In order to get this achievement you need to convince Hugh Darrow to give you the codes to shut down the panchaea’s security system.
I used the following 4 options
1) Extrapolate
2) Extrapolate
3) Appeal
4) Extrapolate
You can also just use Extrapolate for all 4. Just remember to save before entering this room, incase you dont get the achievement.
48.The Desk Job (15 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You convinced Wayne Haas to let you into the morgue.
Welcome to ‘The Desk Job’ Achievement guide. you need to convince Wayne Haas to let you in to the morgue inside the police precinct. Save just before you attempt this because i found each time you try this you get a different reaction to the choice you make. I would highly recommend the Social Enhancement to help you with this.
The four options I used was
1. Absolve
2. Plead
3. Plead
4. Absolve
You can try use Absolve, Plead, Absolve, Plead.
49.Yes Boss (15 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You had an argument with your boss, David Sarif, and won.
After completing the boss fight (Lawrence Barrett) you will be back at Sarif industries. Pritchard will tell you he needs to talk to you. Go to your office to speak to Pritchard. He will tell you that he has found a back door into Sarif Industries Network security, and that he believes David Sarif is responsible. Go back to David Sarif’s office and confront him.
These are the 4 options I used.
1. Defend
2. Placate
3. Defend
4. Defend
You can also use Refocus, Defend, Refocus and Defend.
MAKE SURE TO GO TO YOUR COMPUTER AND READ THE FILES FROM SARIF SO YOU CAN ACTIVATE ANOTHER QUEST (ACQUAINTANCES FORGOTTEN) LATER IN THE GAME. IF YOU DONT DO THIS THE QUEST WILL NOT UNLOCK.
50.Darker Shades (15 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You convinced a fast-talking bartender to let you see Tong Si Hung.
Once you have entered The Hive Nightclub, go speak to the first bartender to your right. He will tell you to go upstairs (First Floor) to the VIP area. Make you way upstairs and look for the other bar on the far left side. When you approach this bartender the conversation will start.
This one can be a tricky one as my first time he wouldn’t tell me. But the second time he did. Make sure to save before this conversation starts so you can reload if it didn’t work.
