Side-Quests Achievements & Trophies
These Trophies/Achievements can be unlocked by completing certain side quest. Some of these Trophies/Achievements are also unlocked by fulfilling certain special conditions within the quests.
21.Cloak & Daggers (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – Deal with the man in the shadows.
When leaving the police station for the first time, Pritchard will contact you to tell you that an ex-colleague of yours is wanting to meet up with you at Grand River road. Go Speak to Jenny Alexandra who will be leaning against a wall opposite the entrance to the DRB Stronghold Plum Terrace. This will give you the option of starting the quest. If you accept this quest, you will need to gather evidence to help bring down a corrupt cop Jack O’Malley. When finishing the quest and speaking to jenny for the final time, she will give you the option of confronting O’Malley and arresting him yourself. Make sure to pick this option to unlock another achievement (The Take) that is relating to this one. When choosing to arrest O’Malley yourself, head over to his apartment to confront him. His apartment will be on the second floor in the same building as Tindall’s from the Lesser Evils Quest. He will offer you a bribe to let him escapte. Accept this deal to Unlock that achievement.
22.Smash the State (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – Help Officer Nicholas take out the trash.
As your leaving the convention Centre, Officer Nicolas will approach you. He fears someone may be planning to blow up the police station. There will be 3 locations he needs you to investigate.
The Metro Tunnel
The Alley
The Sewers
Jacob White will be in the sewers, Becareful when you go down there as he has set frag mines around the area to keep people out. There will be a couple of turrets there as well, but if you have the cloak augmentation then you will be able to get past them. Knock jacob out and disarm the bomb. Type in 0000 to disarm and you will unlock the Lucky Guess Achievement.
After disarming the bomb go back to officer Nicholas and complete quest to unlock Smash the State Achievement.
23.Acquaintances Forgotten (10 Gamerpoints / Bronxe Trophy) -Follow Pritchard’s lead to uncover the truth.
After getting back from the FEMA Facility in Highland Park, Detroit 1, you will HAVE to convince David Sarif to tell you the truth (see ‘Yes Boss’). When he dismisses you, use the elevator and check your emails in your office, all 3 of them. Then return to Sarif and continue with the story as usual when you visit Detroit a second and final time, Pritchard will contact you near the convention centre, starting this side quest. This cannot be done unless you checked the 3 emails in Detroit 1. When you get the Brent Radford’s apartment, you will discover him dying on the floor. Keep on giving him morphine and then ‘leave’, he’ll beg you to stay and deliver a fatal morphine dose. Do as he wishes for the ‘Kevorkian Complex’ achievement.
Carry on with the quest until you reach the garage where you search for evidence. There are photos in the safe and five emails on the computer. Some people get stuck here because they forget to scroll down to the fifth email.
Follow your next objective to find Michelle Walthers. After speaking to her, Adam will speak to Pritchard. Once that conversation is over the Achievement ‘Acquaintances Forgotten’ will unlock.
24.Lesser Evil (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – Deal with Mr. Carella’s indiscretion.
After returning from the Manufacturing Plant you will hear a message come over the intercom calling you to your office. Inside your office on the third floor you will find Tim Carella. He needs your help to retrieve some footage from another employee named Brian Tindall.
Locate Tindall’s Apartment which can be found in Brooklyn Court. This apartment building is protected by a high security fence. The code to this fence is 0002. Tindall’s apartment can be found on the basement floor. The code to get in is 8974.
Check his computer and then meet with Tindell. He will agree to give you the footage if you locate and neutralize two dealers. Once you have done this, return to tindall and the footage will be given to you. Meet Carella who is waiting infront of the subway station. Give him the footage and the achievement will unlock.
25.Motherly Ties (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – Put a grieving mother’s doubts to rest.
After your first mission you will enter the city hub for the first time, as you are leaving Sarif Industries and making your way to the limb clinic or Brooklyn Court to retrieve the footage from Tindall’s apartment. You will talk to Megan’s Mother. She wants you to investigate Megan’s death and to find out why the police investigation has not taken it further. To get this achievement you need to make your way to Brooklyn Court and find Detective Chase. Speak to him and he will tell you what he knows and tell you to speak to Chet Wagner. If you have the Social Enhancer he will tell you everything, if not then you will have to sneak into his office and hack his computer. Talk to Chet again and he will talk. After this follow the next blue marker near the police station. You can use the sewers to get around or just stack a few containers near the fence and jump over. Hack the garage door, Investigate all the notes and hack the safe. In this safe you will find a Megan’s Bracelet. Go to your apartment and Megan’s mom will be waiting for you in the lobby. Talk to her. If you decide to keep the bracelet and not give it to Megan’s mom then you will unlock another achievement Sentimental Value.
26.Corporate Warfare (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – Protect a client’s interests by performing a less-than-hostile takeover.

On your second visit to Hengsha, you will be contacted by Hugh Darrow. He wants you to meet his assistant. Mengyao will be up on the rooftops. Darrow wants you to retrieve some sensitive material regarding panchaea that has been stolen by terrorist.
This item and terrorist will be located in the sewers. Same area as the side quest Rotten Business where you go save Mei Suen’s Friend that got kidnapped. After you retrieve this item go back up the roof. Use the Social Enhancer Augmentation and then when you talk to Mengyao choose Inquire, then Charm for the ‘Ladies Man’ achievement.
27.Talion A.D. (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – Descend into the bowels of an urban jungle and confront a warrior-priest.
To get this, go to the LIMB clinic when Pritchard contacts you and tells you to go there in Hengsha 2. Speak to the Doctor on the left of the counter and he will want you to track down a rogue officer. If you are doing the ‘Corporate Warfare’ achievement then the manhole to his location is just next to the terrorists you have to neutralise.
Just agree with him if you want to avoid a fight and lie to the doctor. Achievement unlocked
28.Bar Tab(10 Gamerpoints / Bronze) – Help the Hive Bartender settle a tab.
To open this side quest you will need to speak to the bartender Bobby Boa on the ground floor in The Hive after speaking to the manager. He will mention that he struck a deal with a female broker named Jaya and she hasn’t paid her tab, but she has gone into hiding but is still using her phone and laptop for business, meaning you can track her. Bobby wants you to hack into bellower’s surveillance network to track her down. There are 3 terminals you will need to hack and they require Hacking: Capture 2.
These terminals will be located on the roof tops, the first one will be on a roof in the Youzhao District near Diamond Chan’s apartment. Once you have hacked into this one your marker will move to the next one. Look for scaffolding around buildings as they will give you access to the rooftops.
Disable the 3 terminals, and then make your way to the Hengsha Court Gardens building. She will be in the penthouse,
Take the elavator and when exiting the elavator, go right.
Speak to Jaya and she will explain that she was cheated and she will not pay a single credit for her augmentation. You have two options here, you can pay a sum of 5000 credits to the Bobby Bao and he promises to not hassle her again, and you will unlock the ‘Guardian Angel’ achievement. The other option is to perform a non-lethal takedown on her and get the augmentation back out of her. Both options will unlock this achievement, but obviously the superior choice is paying for her so you can get another achievement as well.
29.Rotten Business (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – Help a lady in the oldest of professions clean house.
Close to where you land in the beginning of the chapter, on the roof there will be an access door for the Hung Hua Hotel. Go through this door and take the stairs to the fourth floor and then enter the first room you come to. Inside this room you will find the hotel’s top working girl, Mei Suen arguing with someone. Mei’s friend Ning has been taken against her will. And Mei Suen wants you to help find Ning. She feels that one of the hotel’s bouncers, a man named Chuanli may be able to provide you with more information.
You can find Chuanli on the roof of the hotel, so go back up the stairs you came down from, and speak to him. I recommend the social enhancer augmentation as this helps alot more to convince him.Ning is being held in a storage unit near the open drain on the other side of the district near the Alice Garden Pods. To get there, cross the bridge near Chuanli and then follow the series of starcases all the way down until you come out near the open drain.
Elimate these guards and hack the terminal (Level 2) or search the guards, one of them has a pocket sectretary with the access code on it. Now that Ning is safe return to Mei at the hotel. She will thank you and offer another job for you to do. In this next job Mei will ask you to take care of Diamond Chan.
Her main wish is for you to kill him and make it look like an accident, but there is also another way you can deal with this. Ask Mei for another option and she will tell you that you need to knock him out and while he is unconscious, just plant some drugs in his apartment.
what i did was knock him out inside his apartment, saved my game from there and then dragged his body outside and threw it over the edge of the roof. (Achievement will unlock) There will be a marker showing you where to throw him off. I then reloaded and just planted the drugs and went back to the hotel to complete this quest.
30.Shanghai Justice (10 points) – It may take some sleuthing, but justice must be served.

31.Sentimental Value (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You kept Megan’s bracelet for yourself. Apparently, letting go really is the hardest part.
This bracelet can be found while doing the motherly ties quest. The Storage Unit can be located in a alley behind the police station. If your are able to move heavy items then you can move the dumpsters up to the fence and jump over. But if not another quick way is from wagners office, go the way you come in and then follow the corridor along until you come to a small maintenance closet. Inside this room you will find another vent, which you can use to get to this alley. Go down the stairs and open the Storage Unit, Looks like a garage door with a security pad next to it. The code to get in is 4891. There will be some ebooks in there, you have to read them as they are part of the motherly ties quest, In this room, there will be a Evidence Safe, Hack that safe and you will find the bracelet. When speaking to megan’s mom, dont give her the bracelet, and the achievement will unlock.
32.The Take (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – Greedy bastard. You accepted O’Malley’s blood money and let him go.

33.Guardian Angel (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You paid poor Jaya’s debt in full. How very… humane… of you.

34.Super Sleuth (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You really nailed your case against Lee Hong.
When you first enter the Alice Garden pods on your way to meeting the hacker Van Bruggen, you will be appoached by Malik. She will reveal to you that she used to live here. She had a close friend named Evelyn who recently died. Malik is sure her death was not a accident and that she was murdered by her boyfriend. If you accept to help then go to pod 009 which is on the third floor in this buiding. There you will find a pocket sectretary and a ebook. Now you need to go see this contact (anonymous x) at the limb clinic. The person you need to speak to will be behind the window on the right side wearing a cap. He will tell you to meet him around the back of the building.
Once you have done that go to Lee’s apartment which is located in the Youzhao District. When in Lee’s apartment there are four items you want to look for
1) Answering machine on the nightstand next to the bed
2) The computer on a small coffee table. Hacking : Security 2. The emails show a connection with Lee’s family and the Limb clinic
3) The Antique Clock on a large dresser near the cupboard
4) The baseball bat against the wall near the front door.
Now you have the evidence, go back to the Hive and confront Lee. He will be sitting down on the far right side on the second floor. Speak to him and when the dialogue choices come up use the following.
1) Inaccurate
2) Drunk
3) Antique Clock
4) Pregnant
5) Limb
He will admit he killed Evelyn. Now hack the door behind the bar where you spoke to the manager before, just be careful of the bouncers around there. Once this has been hacked malik will upload some footage to show everyone outside the hive.
35.Ladies Man (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You convinced Mengyao to spill the beans on the mysterious Hyron Project.
You will need the social enhancer augmentation, it is impossible to get it any other way. when you are about to complete the Corporate Warfare quest by handing over the chip. You can enquire about the contents of the this chip. Mengyao will not be forthcoming with this information. But if you use your social enhancer with some charm. She will then spill the beans.

36.Lucky Guess (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – Next time, Jacob better use a more complex code to arm his bombs.

37.Kevorkian Complex (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You granted a dying man his final request.
For this you need to be in the following Side Quest: Acquaintances Forgotten, and you need to keep speaking to Brent Radford until he ask’s you to give him a lethal dose of Morphine and keep agreeing until you have the option to give it to him and thats that.

38.The Fall (10 Gamerpoints / Bronze Trophy) – You sent Diamond Chan on the trip of a lifetime.
You need to kill Diamond Chan. Best save your game and then knock him out and throw him over the balcony so it looks like suicide. Then go back and reload the chapter and just knock him out and plant the drugs on him if your trying to get the pacifist Achievement.
