With the release of Final Fantasy Type-0’s downloadable demo only a day away in Japan, Square Enix have revealed more information about the Final Fantasy Type-0 Characters.
Specifically the members of class 0! There are eleven students in total and though there are many classes in the Suzaku magic school, the members of class 0 are the characters in which you will play.
Let’s take a look at each of the playable characters!
Ace
The primary protagonist of class 0, Ace’s weapons of choice are cards, which he uses for both close and long-range attacks. His ability is “Deck Open” where he draws four of these playing cards. The cards can attack, heal, and perform status modifiers. Though usually calm, he has a reckless side and will sometimes act out of anger.
Queen
Queen uses a long sword as her primary weapon, with a standard attack “saber” that deals continuous blows. Her ability is “Cross”, where she aims the sword at the heavens and releases light in the shape of a cross. This deals damage to enemies and can heal allies. She’s referred to as the team’s class president, and her dignified appearance and intelligence suit her name.
Nine
Nine uses a lance as his primary weapon. His standard attack involves a combo that ends in an incredibly powerful blow to send an enemy flying. His ability is “Jump”, where he leaps over the head of a target enemy and slashes down, dealing damage to enemies in the area of the strike point. Impulsive and straightforward, he sees the world in black and white and only feels satisfied when things aren’t complicated.
Machina Kunagiri
Machina’s primary weapon is the dual rapier. His standard attack is a combo that strikes up to 10 times. His ability is “Spin Drive”, where he spins the rapiers like a drill, dealing repeated damage to the enemy. He is transferred into the legendary Class Zero alongside his childhood friend, Rem, due to his high magic proficiency and steadily advances forward in spite his fear of war.
Rem Tokimiya
Rem’s weapons of choice are dual daggers and two types of magic. Her ability is “Aspilbenom” where she sends out a ball of light at the enemy, dealing repeated damage and draining the enemies MP. Transferred into Class Zero along with Machina, Rem is moral, kind, honest, and has an outstanding hidden talent for magic!
King
King uses dual guns as his primary weapons. His standard Hand Gun attack can deal damage at both short and long-range. His ability is “Powered Bullet”, a powerful attack using an explosive bullet! Though he looks cold, King is actually kind-hearted. His bullets are infinite, but still must be reloaded after a set number of shots.
Sice
Sice uses a scythe as her primary weapon. Her ability is “Black Hole” that pulls in enemies and renders them immobile. Sice is not very good with words, but she has good judgement.
Eight
Eight is a fighting expert and uses his fists as his weapon of choice! His standard attack is “Knuckle”, which strikes at opponents quickly and his special ability is “Form of the Gale”. During this move, you can make Eight perform a variety of actions depending on your analogue pad inputs. A young martial artist, Eight wears a pair of knuckles, due to his hate of weapons.
Jack
The always smiling Jack uses a katana as his primary weapon. Specializing in strong attacks, his ability is “Mikiri,” where he evades enemy attack and counters with a quick and powerful strike. In dangerous surroundings Jack encourages his peers to take it easy and is able to make wise-cracks easily.
Seven
Seven uses a “snake sword” as her weapon – an extending whip line with blades. Her standard whip attack can deal damage to enemies in range. Her ability is “Catch”, where she grabs an enemy and unleashes electric damage against it. While her expressions are somewhat cold, she is kind and good-natured.
Deuce
Deuce uses the flute as a weapon. This flute can send out “Onkai” (literally meaning “mass of sound”) that can deal damage to an enemy, the Onkai can also be set in place to trap an enemy. Her ability is “Concerto”, which ups ally statuses and deals damage to enemies. Incredibly loyal to her duties at Class 0, Deuce is kind-hearted and good-natured if not a bit stubborn.
