The biggest news this week is the Nintendo 3DS price drop worldwide to $170 / €170 / £169. I recommend new owners pick up some of the following fantastic games this Friday:

- Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition or Dead or Alive: Dimensions
- Pilotwings Resort
- Nintendogs + Cats
- Ridge Racer 3D
- Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game or Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars
New on the downloadable games front is:
- On the PlayStation Store Far Cry 2, Madden NFL 12 Demo & Driver: San Francisco Demo become available (updates Tuesday).
- While Xbox Live Marketplace gets the Summer of Arcade game Fruit Ninja Kinect (updates Wednesday).
- The Wii Shop, DSiWare & 3DS eShop‘s games are unknown at this point. Europe will be getting the Game Boy’s Avenging Spirit on 3DS Virtual Console (updates Thursday).
- EDGE finally gets released on Steam this week.
