Gorons Confirmed In Zelda: Skyward Sword Comic-Con 2011 Trailer

An all-new The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword trailer made its debut at Comic Con 2011.

The trailer shows more all-new footage than we’ve seen before, this time with a very big emphasis on the cinematics (although almost all of them look like they are in-game and not computer-generated); giving you a great look at the new anime/watercolor-style graphics engine that the game runs on. You also get to see Link without his iconic green garb. This means he starts out without the suit like in GameCube’s The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

Here is the new trailer, how much new stuff can you spot?

The next video takes an in-depth look at the trailer by pausing to analyze each and every scene and piece of music (if you play the theme from Zelda: Skyward Sword backwards you hear Zelda’s Lullaby from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time), pointing out all the new stuff that is shown.

By doing this you not only find out that those loveable rock-eating Goron creatures return (although they might be relegated to Wind Waker-style “traveling merchant” types), but you also will notice that a shop mechanic makes an appearance (possibly hinting at collectables or new mechanical weapons that you may purchase or find) as do several “praying” statues.
