Hard Reset has been announced by developer Flying Wild Hog, a Polish studio made up of members who’ve worked at People Can Fly (Bulletstorm, Painkiller), CD Projekt (The Witcher, The Witcher 2) and City Interactive.
This PC-exclusive title transports players to a haunting, dystopian future, with humanity on the verge of extinction, confined to its last standing city and under constant threat from the robotic hordes that aim to annihilate mankind.
The game combines equal parts The Matrix and Blade Runner while playing similarilty to Painkiller, featuring a neon-drenched city with dark yet colorful graphics. It runs on the new and aptly named “Road Hog” engine.
The game will be released soon, hitting this September. Here is the official debut trailer.
