The Wonderland that you knew from childhood has gone horribly wrong . . . again. This is the follow-up to designer American McGee’s twisted take on the classic Lewis Carroll tale. Designed with the same dark style of the original, but now featuring entirely new visuals, story and game design, Alice: Madness Returns follows Alice on a journey through a wildly corrupted and shattered Wonderland to uncover the truth behind her haunted past and tortured psyche.

Alice: Madness Returns takes place 10 years after the conclusion of the original game, with Alice struggling to recover from the emotional trauma of losing her entire family in a fatal fire. After spending a decade institutionalized in an insane asylum, she is finally released to the care of a psychiatrist who just may be able to help her conquer the nightmarish hallucinations that still haunt her. Alice embarks on a mission to root out the true cause of her family’s mysterious death, jumping from a gloomy and stark London to a rich and provocative Wonderland.

Please note that viewers must be at least 18 to watch, so no harm comes to those with innocent eyes.

Eleven years ago a horrific fire took Alice’s family from her and left her mind horrifically scarred. Afterwards she was confined to Rutledge Asylum where she struggled to confront her demons by slipping further into her fantasy world of Wonderland. Now, after ten years, she has finally secured her release – yet she still bears the heavy psychological burden of that tragic event.

With her mind in tatters, she is unable to resolve the fear prompted by her strange memories, dreams, and visions. Perhaps she’ll do better in Wonderland. She always has. She travels there, seeking what the “real” world can’t provide: security, knowledge, and the truth about the past. But in her absence, Wonderland too has suffered. Something has gone horribly wrong, and now a great evil is descending upon what once was her beautiful refuge. Can Alice save Wonderland — and herself — from the madness that consumes them both?

Alice: Madness Returns like the original 2000 game release for PC that it is a sequel to, is a third-person, single player, action game that incorporates platforming and combat gameplay. Playing as Alice players retreat into Wonderland for comfort from the real world, only to find it in even more shambles than before. Yet this world that exists in Alice’s head holds the secrets to her repressed memories and the truth behind the murder of her family. Players must fight their way across this world using a mixture of melee weapons, magic and puzzle-solving and platforming skills to defeat a variety of enemy types, each with particular strengths and weakness. By besting each, players collect in-game currency that can be used to upgrade weapons and skills. In addition to combat players also must explore every corner of this strange world to find clues, messages and potions that help to literally unlock memories that will finally expose the truth behind the madness.

    Vale of Tears

    Cheshire Cat says: “Abandon that hope! A new law reigns in this Wonderland, Alice. It’s very rough justice all round. We’re at risk here. You… be on your guard!”

    Welcome to Alice everyone!

    Once the long cutscene if over, you will need to head out the door down the corridor and make your way down the stairs, on your way down the corridor you will be able to go into the childrens rooms and have a look around.

    Following the corridor you will need to make your way to the front door.

    Once you have gone through the front door, make your way to the left and follow the road. You will then see a market, head through the market until you see the white cat.

    You will then enter a short cutscene, you will need to be quick and follow the white cat.

    The cat will then go ahead of you, you will need to head under the bridge and then down another dark alley.

    When you enter the final alley you will enter another cutscene.

    You will then meet up with Nurse Witless who will then invite you back to her’s to have a look at her pigeons?

    You will be able to have a wonder around the roof. You will then need to make your way over the wooden bridge, you will then talk to Nurse Witless again and enter another cutscene.

    You have now arrived back in Wonderland!

    Once you have finished watching the cutscene, you will need to head up the hill. Have a press of your controls to see where jump and all the other actions may be located.

    You will see a glass castle, press the correct button stated to collect your memory.

    Keep heading up the hill and over the floating dominos, keeping moving forward untill you get to a large gap with some more dominos to jump across.

    You will be getting some on screen actions you will need to remember.

    Once you have made it across the dominos, you will need to jump off the ledge to find another memory.

    Make your way across the mushrooms!

    You will be able to used the patterned mushrooms as a trampoline.

    Before you make your way up to the next ledge collect your memory.

    When you make it up to the next ledge, you will enter another cutscene. You will learn how to shrink in the drink me waterfall.

    Once the cutscene is over, drink some of the potion and head through the tiny key hole, collect your memory on the way to the key hole.

    When you come out of the key hole you will be in a familiar place, use the trampoline to get up to the ledge and on the left hand side is another key hole. Head through it.

    When you come out of the tunnel on the left you will see come teeth. These are your so called “coins” Collect them.

    Jumping down off the ledge and through the next key hole.

    Remember to collect any teeth and memories, shrink down again once you have collect the teeth and head under the dice and domino bridge.

    When you appear from under the bridge, you will see a blue mushroom on the right hand side, this is another so called trampoline. Use it.

    It will then take you to a large slide. Use your controls to collect the teeth and move your way around the shells.

    Once you have finished on the slide, you will need to follow the blood river untill you see what looks to be like a dragon skeleton.

    You will then enter a cutscene.

    Once the cutscene is over, you will be given The Vorpal Blade!

    Have a practice on the shells, you will be able to pick up a few teeth when you break them.

    When you move forward, you will see 3 shells under some tree roots, you will need to break them and head through the gap.

    Move forward, you will then be able to have a real practise with your Vorpal Blade.

    Follow your on screen instructions on how to use the blade to it’s best.

    once you have slayed the enemies, head through the tunnel and to your right you will see a shining memory.

    Once you have your memory, continue forward collecting the teeth and use the jumping mushroom to get onto the ledge.

    Proceed forward until you get to the large gap, you will then be given some on screen instructions on another jump.

    Once you have jumped and floated to the other side move right and do it once move.

    Once you have landed on the ground use the jumping mushroom to get onto the ledge.

    Turning to the left you will be able to collect your first bottle.

    Once you have collected your first bottle, smash the shells to collect some more teeth.

    Turn yourself around and head down the slope, you will then need to make another big jump across the gap.

    Once you have made it across the gap, you will be able to collect another bottle.

    Make your way forward to the ledge and jump off the ledge and make your way to the cook.

    You will then enter a cutscene.

    Once you have ended the cutscene, head over to the table and pick up the pepper grinder.

    Once you have the grinder, head through the newly oped door.

    When you head through the door you will be greeted by Bolterfly.

    You will need to use your new pepper grinder to take them down.

    You will need to watch out with your pepper grinder, if you use it for too long it will over heat.

    Once you have taken out all of the enemies, you will then be shown how to capture your pig snouts.

    Vorpal Blade Gameplay Tips: In the first level you will obtain the Vorpal Blade. It inflicts the swiftest damage to a single target at close range. Right after you obtain it as part of the story, you’ll encounter your first enemies, the Insidious Ruin, you can Focus on an enemy (pull left trigger button on consoles) and press the attack button (X or Square button on consoles) repeatedly for a series of swift Vorpal Blade attacks. This will help finish off your enemies one by one in a faster fashion. But if they try to attack you, you can Dodge at any time (with the right shoulder button), even while Jumping.

    Jumping Gameplay Tips: While Jumping, press and hold the jump button (A on Xbox 360 or X on PS3) to initiate Alice’s Float. To further extend Float, press and HOLD the jump button again while jumping. Float can be used multiple times while jumping.

    Enemy Gameplay Tips: Grabbed by an enemy? Escape using your Dodge or Shrink moves.
    Insidious Ruin possess no defenses. Finish them quickly to thin out enemy numbers.
    When near defeat, Menacing Ruin become enraged. Dodge to avoid being rammed.

    Hint: Be alert! Listen and look out for Pig Snouts!

    Alice Madness Returns Walkthrough – Chapter 1: Vale of Tears Part 2.

    You will need to keep your ears open and listen for the oinks from the pig snouts.

    Fire your grinder at the snout, the snout will then fly and show you a new door.

    Once you have been shown the new door by the snout, head back to the Dutchess in her kitchen to receive a reward.

    You will now need to shrink and head through the tiny door.

    Look carfully in the shadow in front of the ledge to find another snout. Shoot it with your pepper grinder.

    You will then be attacked by the Bolterfly, remember use your grinder to take them down.

    The snout will have rewarded you with some dominos, these will help you cross the large gap.

    You will also be able to use your knife on the Bolterflys.

    Once you have taken out all the Bolterfly’s, make your way over the dominos, watch out because there are some more enemies located on the other side. There will also be some more Bolterflys that will arrive.

    Try to look for the hives, this will reduce the number of Bolterfly’s.

    When you have cleared the area of all enemies, you will need to have a look for a snout. The snout is located across the gap. If you have not used the dominos to get across the gap you will need to use them now to locate your next snout.

    Remeber shoot yout snout with the grinder to receive your reward.

    The snout will give you some more dominos.

    Use them to get across to the other ledge, you will be able to pick up another memory.

    Remember to destroy the shells to get some more teeth.

    Once you have collected your memory and destroyed the shells for some teeth, jump across the next set of dominos.

    You will need to jump across the moving domino platform to get to the other side.

    Once you have made it to the other side, you will be introduced to a new enemy. The Slithering Ruin.

    Once you have taken out the Slithering Ruin, you will need to jump over the gap.

    There will be another enemy to appear here.

    Once you have defeated the enemy, you will either be rewarded with some teeth or a red health orb.

    Proceed forward to the ledge, you will need to jump down to the lower ledge first, use the jumping mushroom to get to the upper platform.

    When you arrive on the next platform another mushroom will appear, you will need to watch out for the black lava because it will kill you.

    Once you have made it over the black lava and landed on the platform there will be some enemies waiting.

    Head over and use the jumping mushroom to get over the gap. Keep moving forward until the trees fall away and you have to jump over the large gap.

    When you get over to the other side, head to the right hand side where there is a gap between two rocks.

    Enemies will appear out of the black slime and the Bolterfly’s will appear from their hives.

    Try and take out the hives since thats where the bolterflys come from.

    You will be able to use the jumping mushroom to get onto the upper level to take down the hives from an easier point.

    When you collect enough teeth, you will be able to upgrade your weapons. Check the amount of teeth you have and see what you will be able to upgrade.

    Once you have upgraded your wepons, you will see a short cutscene. Have wonder around and smash the shells to collect some more teeth.

    Once you have finished your wonder around, head over to the area where the trains fell over the ledge. Jump down and make your way across the platforms. Use the jumping mushrooms to get some extra height.

    Once you have made it across, you will be able to smash the shells to collect some teeth, you will also have to deal with a few enemies.

    Once you have defeated those few enemies, head through the tunnel. A small cutscene will occur blocking off your exit behind you.

    Head forward through the tunnel.

    Proceed forward untill you get to an area with lots of tea pots!

    When you jump down off the ledge onto the sand below, you will be introduced to a new enemy called the Madcap.

    You will need to be really quick since the Madcaps move really quickly.

    It’s a better idea to dodge the Madcap’s untill they get close enough to you. Once they are close to you take them out with your blade, but watch out for their pan.

    Once you have defeated the first wave of enemies, you will see a short cutscene introducing the next Madcap who looks like he has a lot of protection.

    You will need to dodge the enemy just before he attacks you, this will reveal his body without his protective armour, attack him when his protective armour is down.

    Once you have defeated the Madcap, you will need to head up the black ramp where some more Madcap’s will be waiting for you.

    Keep following the road, remember to dodge the armour protected Madcap and attack him when his body is exposed.

    Once you have defeated all of the enemies, use the jumping mushroom to get onto the ledge.

    Jumping off the ledge on the otherside, you will be shown how to Shrink where the violet flowers are.

    Once you have landed and read the instructions about shrink, smash the teapots, the teapots will have enemies lurking under them.

    Near the teapots there is a bolder, you will need to shrink down and head towards the bolder, the bolder will then disappear and you will be able to head through the tiny door.

    When you come out of the tunnel you will be able to pick up a bottle.

    Shrink back down and head back through the door.

    To get across the huge gap with the teeth, you will need to shrink down. This will cause an invisible path to appear allowing you to cross.

    Once at the end leave the invisible bridge and pick up a memory.

    Proceed forward and smash the teapots.

    In the middle of the gap you will see a snout, shoot the snout and it will reward you will a bolder platform.

    Jump off the ledge and use the jumping mushroom to get to the platform. You will be able to smash the basket and three teapots.

    Once you have broken the basket and teapots and collected your teeth. Make your way back over to the main area and head up the metal stairs and make your way over to the metal horn.

    You will need to call the cable car.

    Hatter’s Domain

    Once you are in the cable car, you will then enter a cutscene.

    You will then need to make your way over to the vent, jump into the vent and use it to get onto the left ledge.

    Behind the teapot you will be able to get your hands on another memory.

    Making your way through the hole in the wall, you will be able to pick up some teeth in the corner.

    Make your way up the ramp and over to the valve, you will need to turn the valve.

    Once you have turned on the steam, jump across and make your way to the platform where the Madcap is.

    Once you have defeated the Madcap, jump across to the second steam vent and over to the other platform, there will be two Madcap’s on this platform.

    Remember to collect the teeth when you defeat your enemies, you can use them to upgrade your weapons.

    Make your way over the metal platform and through the hole in the wall, turning to the left head over to the violet and shrink.

    Once you have shrunk yourself down, you can also go through the key hole and pick up a collective bottle. Make your way back to the lever near the turning gear. This leaver will cause the turning gear to be pull away allowing your to pass.

    When you land on the other platform, you will already see the Madcap.

    Once you have defeated the Madcap, shrink yourself down and head under the metal gate, You will then need to take on another Madcap.

    Smash the boxes to get some teeth, once you have defeated the Madcap and smashed the boxes head back under the gap and out through the hole in the wall.

    Jump down onto the lower platform and turn the lever to turn on the steam, you will also be able to see the Madcaps.

    Once you have defeated the Madcap, head over and smash the boxes behind you.

    Once you have collected all the goodies, jump into the steam and over to the platform.

    When you land on the platform, you will need to jump across onto the moving gear platform. Time your jumps so you don’t miss your platform.

    Once on the new platform, defeat the Madcap, then jump over the large gap to the platform across the way and head through the door.

    Jump down off the ledge and take on the Madcaps, once you have defeated the madcap, you will need to follow the path and jump into the steam.

    Before you jump into the steam you will need to watch the moving platform above you, once you have made it onto the moving platform, you will need to jump across into the steam which is lift you onto the platform above.

    When you land on the platform you will be safe for a little while! Until you are raided by Madcaps and those black slitherings slugs!

    Once you have killed all the enemies, a ramp will fall down for you to go up. When you go up the ramp into the new area, you will be greeted by some more enemies.

    Once you have defeated those enemies, a part of the wall will be lowered down for you to pass through.

    Pass through the gap, if you are low on health have a smash through the boxes, you should be able to pick up some health here.

    Make your way to the ledge and make the large jump across. You are able to jump inside the flower and the flower will fill up any missing health.

    You will then need to jump and soar all the way over to the far platform, make your way onto the moving platform and jump into the steam and land on the upper moving platform.

    Jump over to the solid platform and turn the leaver.

    You will then need to head over to the rusty piece of metal, time your jump very carefuly here. Once you have made it over to the solid platform, jump again and head through the hole in the wall.

    Proceed forward and smash all the boxes, watch out because there will be some Black Slithering Slugs in the boxes.

    When you have finished with the boxes, you will need to shrink yourself down and head into the key hole, you will be able to pick up a memory and some extra goodies located in the boxes.

    Once you have your goodies, follow the path round and make your jump.

    Once you have made the jump smash the boxes and pots then head through the door where you will meet a new enemy called The Eyepot.

    Alice Madness Returns Walkthrough – Chapter 1: Hatter’s Domain Part 2.

    For the Eyepot, it is a good idea to dodge as much as you are able to, it will stomp down and take away from your health bar.

    You will also need to get behind the Eyepot, when he is down you will be able to shoot him, you willl also need to aim for the eye of the Eyepot.

    Once you have killed the first Eyepot, you will need to kill another Eyepot on the new platform, watch out for the Eyepot Bombs!.

    Before you make your way down onto the platform, use your pepper grinder to weaken the enemies.

    When you jump down, take down the weaker enemy. You will then see you are being fired at from the platform behind you and to the top right. You will need to jump onto the moving gear platform and then across to the solid platform, you will be able to smash the pots for some goodies.

    Once you have smashed all the boxes, head over and turn the lever to start the steam, jump into the steam and land on the platform where the two Eyepot’s are.

    Take out the weaker enemy with your pepper grinder, and use your blade to slay the Eyepot’s eye. This will take them down alot faster. Watch out for their front legs, you will need to attack the Eyepot twice then move out of the way as it will throw it’s front legs forward.

    Head through the newly opened doo, jump across to the platform and take out the boxes and see what they are hiding.

    Make your way over to the button and press it, you will need to move quickly to get onto the platform before it moves.

    When you get to the upper platform, turn yourself around and jump down off the platform onto the checkered floor below.

    Follow the checkered floor until you get to an area with lots of platforms, you will need to jump onto second platform on the right and head up through the doorway.

    Keep following the path and go through the doorway on the right, keep moving forward until you see a ramp, head up the ramp and press the button.

    You will need to get onto the platform above you, you will need to move quickly before the door shuts.

    Once you are through the door, pull the leaver on the teapot and make your way down through the door.

    When you head through the door you will start to slide down, make sure you collect those teeth!

    When you land you will see a beeping clockwork bomb.

    You will then get some instructions on how to use your bomb.

    Once you have read the instructions, head up the slope and jump across to the platform and throw your bomb down.

    Head through the hole and up the slope, you will then need to place another bomb on the next weak panel to get through into the next area.

    Jump across to the platform across and break the boxes, once you have done that head through the Lost and Found entrance.

    Head to the gear platforms and jump down, in the corner you will be able to break some boxes and pots, shrink yourself down and head through the key hole where you will be able to find a memory.

    Make your way up to the door on the top platform and head through it.

    You will then enter a cutscene.

    When you come out of the door you will be met by some the enemies.

    Use your vortal blade to take the enemies down, or if you prefer your pepper grinder.

    Once you have killed all the enemies, you will need to read about your new aiming mode.

    Aim at the red clock and shoot at it with you pepper grinder untill it turns green, this will cause a platform to be lowered.

    Make your way across the platform and through the doorway.

    When you arrive on the other side you will enter a short cutscene.

    Once you have finished talking with the Mad Hatter, head over and smash your pots. You will then need to use one of your bombs to break through the weak barrier.

    You will need to head through the barrier on the left hand side. You will then be taught how to use the Pressure Pads.

    You will need to place a bomb onto the pressure pads to keep the door open for you to pass through.

    Jump onto the platform and ride it to the top.

    Alice Madness Returns Walkthrough – Chapter 1: Hatter’s Domain Part 3.

    When you arrive at the top, head over and pick up your blue umbrella, have a read on how to use your umbrella.

    Now we are introduced to a new enemy called the Menacing Ruin, you will be able to use your umbrella to deflect the enemy fire, aim your umbrella at the ememy to take it down.

    Watch out for when the enemy slams onto the floor, there is a shock wave, try and jump over it to avoid loosing any health.

    Once you have defeated the enemy, you will need to head on over and shoot the clock face until it turns green. This means you have activated it.

    You will need to do this twice.

    Near the clock on the left, you will be able to find a pig snout.

    You will need to use your pepper grinder to shoot the clocks, head over to the platform to pick up a memory. You will then need to make your way abck to the solid platform and head over to the gear platform.

    Smash the boxes and pots then head up the metal stairs, you will then be sitting in a tea cup that will roll along the track.

    Once you have arrived at your destination, jump out of the cup and listen to the cat.

    Remember, if you want to upgrade your weapons you will need to collect as many teeth as you can.

    Once you have listen to the cat, make your way over to the stairs and climb them, near the stomping foot there is a clock you will need to activate with your pepper grinder.

    This will lower a solid platform for you to cross.

    Once you have made it a cross. smash the boxes and hidden between them is another memory.

    On the left look up near the chain, you will need to shoot and activate the clock, this will then lower the gear and open the door on the other side.

    Once through the door you will be shown a quick scene of where you need to get to. Make your way onto the metal platform and then across to where the boxes are, stand on the button to stop the blocks from smashing down. Collect what is inside the boxes and then head back onto the metal platform.

    You will need to move quickly and make your way back onto the metal platform before they start to move again.

    Make your way across the metal platform and onto the gears, collect the teeth on the gear and head through the single metal slammer.

    Once you have made it across, place a bomb on the weak area and enter, there is another place to blow up, place your bomb onto the button and head out.

    You will need to make your way up the stairs and across the two gears onto the platform with the stairs.

    You will need to shrink yourself down to get under the gap, you will need to dash under the hammer and place a bomb on the weak area.

    Place a bomb on the button and make your way across the gears and through the newly opened door.

    Head through the door and smash the boxes, watch out when you go through the next door as there is a Eyepot.

    Once you have killed the Eyepot, head through the double hammers, time your movements other wise you will turn into millions of butterflys.

    Once you have made it through the hammers, head over to the jumping mushroom to get to the upper level.

    you will then need to go forward and make your way up the stairs, jump across onto the platform and up some more stairs.

    Place a bomb on the button and jump down to the area below, you will need to move quickly before the door shuts.

    Jump over the large gaps, watch out for the Eyepot’s that will be waiting for you on the other side.

    You will then need to shoot the clock face, this will caise the doors to open.

    When you have gone through both of the doors, you will arrive in an area with lots of cages floating on chains.

    Your first jump will need to be the cage directly in front of you, then head to the right. Keep jumping until you get to the platform that does not move. You will be able to see the clock through the broken wall. Shoot it.

    Keep jumping across the stable platforms and jump into the steam.

    When you land onto the platform, break the boxes and plant a bomb, head through the newly blown hole and pull the leaver.

    Make your way over to the steam and jump in, head through the cage and look to the left, you will need to shoot the clock again to turn the cages. This will allow you to make your way across.

    Alice Madness Returns Walkthrough – Chapter 1: The Hatter’s Legs.

    Head through the tunnel and the door will open for you and you will enter a cutscene with the rabbit.

    After the cutscene move forward and make your way through the hammers, you will need to act quickly here as these hammers move pretty fast.

    When you have made it through the three hammers, smash the boxes and make your way up the metal stairs.

    Stand on the button and place your rabbit bomb on it, this will allow you to make your way across the gear to the other ledge.

    Pull the lever on the ledge, once you have pulled the leaver and watched the short cutscene. Jump off the ledge onto the gear below. You will then need to jump and land on the ledge above you where you crossed for the first time.

    Head up those metal stairs and head towards the red glow, make your way over the large gap. Smash the boxes and carry on forward jumping over another gap.

    You will need to time your dashes here to get under the hammers. When the first hammer slams down you will need to jump up onto the little ledge this dash under the first and second hammer onto the solid platform at the top.

    You will need to make the long jump between the hand hammers, to do this you will need to wait until the first hand is open, this is your key to jump. By the time the first one slams shut the second pair of hammer hands will open allow you to make your land on the solid platform.

    When you land on the platform you will be greeted by the enemies, every enemy….

    Once you have killed all your enemies, you will need to smash the boxes around the area. You will be able to pick up some extra health and some teeth.

    Remember to collect as many teeth as you can, this will allow you to upgrade your weapons.

    You will then need to shoot the clock face until it turns green, and turn the leaver. The leaver will bring a lift down for you.

    Just before the lever, you will be able to place a bomb and blow up a secret area, shrink yourself down and head through the keyhole. Here you will find a bottle and three boxes.

    Make your wat over to the lift, once at the top. Head forward and quickly dash through the many slamming hammers.

    When you get to the end, jump off the ledge and use the flower to add some more health to your health bar.

    You will then need to shrink down and go under the jammed hammers. Making yourself large again, you will then need to jump up the hammer stairs and over the gap to the other platform where you will need to pull the leaver.

    turning yourself around, jump over the gap you just jump over and head forward jumping down over the ledges.

    When you land on the large hand, it will lift you up and take you to the area where the rabbit was. You will need to pull the leaver.

    Smelling & Regurgitating

    If you need to stock up on your health you will be able to do so now, head over and smash the pots to collect health and teeth. The more teeth you collect the sooner you will be able to upgrade your weapons.

    Head over and stand on the button, place a bomb on the button and make your way over to the gear that has been revealed.

    Heading up on the gear you will arrive at the top.

    You will not be able to hit the clock on the other side just yet, on the left there is a floating gear platform, jump off the platform and land on the floating platform. Jumping again to land on the platform in front of you.

    Heading up the stairs and jump into the little tea cup on wheels.

    Once you have arrived at the station, you will have a brief encounter with the cat.

    Once you have listened to what he has to say, head up the two sets of stairs jumping across to the platform in the middle of the lava!

    You will be able to see a clock just to the left on the wall, jumping down off the platform onto the platform below. You will then need to shoot the clock on the wall, this will cause the bottom platform to be lifted up.

    You need to move quickly as the two platforms in front of you are moving upwards.

    You will need to jump across both of the platforms and jump onto the ledge to the left of you.

    Heading up the metal stairs and smash the pots and make your way through the door. The door will then shut behind you.

    Jump onto the platform and over tot he other side where there will be a Eyepot and other enemies.

    Remember to aim for the Eyepot’s eye and attack it whilst it is down.

    If you hve upgraded your weapons these enemies should not be so hard to take down.

    Once the enemies are down, jump over the lava to collect a bottle, located on the opposite side is a memory you will be able to collect.

    Heding up the metal stairs, when you get to the ledge you will need to look down and jump onto the platform below and again to get to the next platform.

    Shrink yourself down and head through the key hole and pull the leaver.

    Head out over the new platform and turn to the right, you will need to wait until the gear platform is lowered so you will be able to jump onto the platform and ride it up.

    You will also need to do this with the second platform.

    Once you have made it onto the upper platform, take out some of the enemies before you get over to the other side. Head up the stairs and to the platform on the left. Make your way across to the other side.

    Head through the door and talk to the Cat, you will then need to make your way through the door and it will close behind you. There will be enemies that appear on this platform for you to defeat.

    Once you have defeated the enemies, jump down onto the moving platforms and make your way over to the leaver and pull it.

    Jump back down into the middle platform, there will be many enemies here you will need to take down.

    Once you have defeated the enemies, you will need to jump onto the frozen pot in the middle, then jump into the tunnel, make your way through the tunnel.

    Once you are out of the tunnel you will need to shoot the clock face, you will need to do as the cat says.

    When at the top, place your bomb at the weak point, then head through the tiny key hole.

    Through the hole in the hall where the large tea pots are is a snout, shoot it and you will be rewarded with a basket.

    Head back through the key hole, before you placed the bomb look to the left, there is a clock here you will need to shoot.

    Ride the vents up.

    Once you are at the top, head into the enclove to collect some teeth, head back out and shrink so you can fit under the pipes. On the left hand side there is a clock face to shoot. Ride the vents up.

    Once you have made it all the way to the top, place the bomb on the button and make your way through the newly opened door.

    Make your way forward and turn the leaver, you will need to ride the venrs to get onto the platforms.

    When you get onto the checkered platform, you will have enemies to deal with.

    Once you have killed all the enemies, turning to the left you will see a jumping mushroom in the middle of the platform, use it to get across to the other side.

    After you have met the doormouse, you will need to jump off to the platform on the right first, then make your way across the platforms.

    When you get to the final platform, shoot the clockface in front of you.

    Head over your new platforms, watching out for the falling lava, ujse the jumping mushroom to get to the upper platform.

    When you get into the upper platform area, you will need to turn the leaver.

    Head through the doorway on the left and place a bomb in the weak area.

    Jump down ont the platform below, the platform opposite you and above will hold enemies! Watch out for those Botflys.

    You are able to walk on the ice. Make your way across the ice untill you see the orange clock face, shoot the clock face.

    Use the platform to get onto the vent.

    Shrink yourself down near the violet to see the path across to the other side.

    Cranking Up & Pressing Down

    Fixing The Hatter.

    Cheshire Cat says: “The Hatter must be found, Alice, and placated. Ignore his checkered past. You know he’s a mercurial, undependable lout. But necessary!”

    Watch the Hatter’s demise.

    Once you have made it across to the other platform, down below you will need to take on a few enemies. Rob has the best way to take them down, stay where you are and take them out from above.

    You will also be able to throw your bunny bombs down at the enemies, everyone will stop and take a look at the bomb not knowing what is coming!

    Once you have killed all the enemies, head over and shoot the clock face, just the new moving platforms floating in the lava to get to your platform. Once on the platform, head up the stairs and head into the key hole.

    There is an enemy when you go through the keyhole, head over and turn the lever, this will turn the lava to ice.

    Head back through the key hole and jump down onto the ice, use the vents to get onto the door mouse platform and pull the lever.

    Head over to the large hole where the Hatter’s arms fell into.

    You will then enter a cutscene with the Hatter.

    Once you have watched the cutscene, you will need to jump across the gear platforms.

    Shoot the snout with your pepper grinder and you will be rewarded with a vent to get that memory.

    Jump down to sollid ground and break all whats breakable, head through the gear door where you will be faced with the Ruins. Use your bunny bomb to help you defeat these enemies.

    Remember, you are able to use your umbrella to reflect the bombs and send them back to your enemies.

    Once you have killed all your enemies, follow the Hatter through the door. You will be able to head through the key hole on the right hand side, you will be able to pick up a memory.

    Head out of the keyhole and follow the path, make your way over the gap, you will then meet with the Hatter again who is trying to fit the next door.

    Use the jumping mushroom to get up onto the upper ledge, head into the flower to regain your health.

    Shrink through the tiny hole and jump over to the platform across from you. Smash all the boxes then head up the ramp. Where you will need to shoot the clock face. Head through ethe tiny door and thenthe key hole where you where you will need to place a bomb on thew weak point in the floor.

    Jump through the hole in the floor where you need to pull the lever.

    You have now finished chapter 1!
