He expected it to be awkward with lots of gnashing of teeth, and remarks how they don’t do the whole *makes golf and tennis swinging gestures* thing and…. *does a little dance* No they don’t do that, they do “core” games played with a controller. Instead of saying what he thought they would though, Sony called and told him they wanted to make him into a believe. And that it wasn’t about gestures, it was about removing the barrier of entry for those who don’t use controllers and enhancing the experience with the Move. But now mobile technology from the likes of Apple and Android has caught up to being able to offer similar experiences to home consoles. How do they deliver a PS level experience to a wider audience? By using PlayStation Suite, starting with bringing PlayStation to non-PlayStation devices. They’ll bring it to Android and various tablets. He believes it will bring in new people to the core Sony devices of the PS3 and PSP2/NGP/Vita.
And now the big reveal. The PSP2 is officially named PlayStation Vita. Vita mean life and the new system blurs the line between entertainment and your real life like never before.
