Disney Universe has been announced by Disney Interactive as a new multiplayer-focused action-adventure game for multiple platforms including Xbox 360, PS3 and PC (no Wii, DS or 3DS version however).
Levels will be based on the animated and live-action films from the entire Disney staple, including films from various studios like Pixar. In the game you play as cute Disney characters who put on different costumes from various films that each give you new powers and abilities to take on the game’s enemies.
Over 40 contemporary costumes from various movies will be available for your character to choose from, taken from films such as Lilo and Sitch, Alice in Wonderland, Monsters Inc and Tron Legacy and the game includes six worlds to explore based on various Disney flicks. It also supports four-player cooperative play.
Disney is already promising additional post-release downloadable content including new costumes and universes as DLC once the game is out.
