Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3‘s first gameplay trailer has been released online!
The latest installment to the blockbuster first-person shooter series is being co-developed by Infinity Ward with assistance on the multiplayer portion of the game from Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be published by Activision on November 8th, 2011, worldwide for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. That’s five months and 16 days from now… not that I’m counting!
Here’s the first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 trailer:

As the previous Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 teasers revealed, the game’s story mode takes place following the events of Modern Warfare 2. It puts the player fighting in World War III with America, England, France, and Germany under siege.
While it’s unclear who exactly is waging this all-out war against America and Europe, it’s suggested the Russian terrorist Makarov is orchestrating the events causing the war, as it was him who said the quote used in the trailer: “It doesn’t take the most powerful nations on Earth to create the next global conflict, just the will of a single man.”
